They used Nintendo plushies which is completely fine, but they used them in a different way like Saying curse words, extremely inappropriate, suicide, blood, gore, and more blood, Nintendo thought That sml were making there characters look bad, so Logan (sml creator) had 2 problems Nintendo suing Them, and RUclips, the first channel was deleted because of RUclips for inappropriate Ness, the 2nd channel Sml gave up on because they weren't making money so they made another one. Bonus: The reason why he made videos was because he extremely sick he made vids for money😢

For me the new SML is kind of better in quality and humor, they even have their own puppets that can't get sued
