@@Protectourbioshpere after that I align and screw the cabinets together, I put a lock that IKEA delivered with the cabinets that lock them to the metal stud, after that you can walk on them.

@@p.k.s14 I dunno, man. I come from the concept of over engineer everything, so It is certainly possible that I just over do it. That being said, I had an ikea floating desk that used that exact same kind of bracket, and I did not feel it was strong enough until I put a few through the desk and into the studs. Even after that, I would not have recommended walking on it, but you do you. I hope you don't live somewhere that has earthquakes though for sure.

@@Protectourbioshpere It’s very strong, and you have to consider that it’s more than one cabinet, I also tend to put screws through the brackets to the other cabinet and so on , its very solid.

@@mirolund5331 Right, but this board makes it stronger even if it 2-3 mm thin. and when you open the door you will see less wall, some customers pay no money to fix the walls behind the cabinets.

@@mirolund5331sure, i leave the board always, it’s made to stay not to be removed, also you can easily use it to nail the cabinets square, and if you attached it to the wall (without the board) it will in some cases have room to move right/left at the bottom. Long story short; i leave it always and making cuts on the board doesn’t bother me.
