It was! :) Renergy in Germany. Ordered online from their Europe site... Delivery was tracked and claimed initially that it was going to take about a week but it came within 2 or 3 days. We had actually left the campsite and came back again after a couple of nights...

Traditionally buildings like this are for agriculture purposes and the farmer would live locally in the nearby village... Something to discuss with the agent for the seller. Thanks for watching.

@@richvangogh hi Rich! The building is an agricultural support construction not intended for full time habitation. Many people choose to live in campervan/caravan but don’t expect to be given any license /permit to do that :) It has no currently electricity and it’s far away from the grid, so most likely to be an off grid property

It's a great quinta, we were taken with this one too.... I think UK citizens without Portuguese residency can be in the EU for 90 days on and then 90 out of the Shengan area, i believe, so potentially a total of 6 months in Portugal over any 12. Weighted UK side.... I could be wrong, Definitely look into this more though...

It's 90/180 days - or 3 months out of 6. 😎. And plenty of different visas available to extend your stay. Then apply for a registration certificate and temporary residency. After 5 years you can claim permanent residency. 😎👍

This land is a rustic article. The owners, as 90% of the Portuguese, live in townhouses and work their land in a daily bases. As a processional agent, I always recommend my clients to buy the land they love and a townhouse in the same Aldeia. Trying to find land with residential rights is as common as a flying unicorn. Trying to buy rustic land, put a project and convert to urban is opening a can of worms…

And not sure how close is the electricity... I do see this property as more recreational, for weekend camping or a bit of retreat.... Hi Rich! It’s Noelia here ( I am also a fan on the channel) 😊 As Conrad is saying, this land is more for recreational and nature enjoyment. You could possibly put and borehole and even a construction up to 40m2…. But there are more empty plots to do so ❤

That's a really good question to ask but to be honest we can't be certain of the answer. I would refer you to the agent as I'm sure they would have a much better idea of these things... There are rules about managing trees close to property to reduce the fire risk but I'm not too sure how that applies in this case. Thanks for bringing this up. Good question. I will ask around. Most of boulder is marked in the cadernetas as “esteril land”, so my feel is that they won’t be that strict like low land agricultural next to houses. It will be very good to sometimes give a hand to nature and get rid of y’all dry bushes during wet season. The owner is very proud of the land and came and cut the grass before it came to the market some weeks ago :)
