Curious on dimension changes on this kit. Im currently dropping a gen 2 in my foxbody and the driver side turbo is already pretty close to the steering shaft.

Do you have anything for 2012 3.5 ecoboost, I imagine I can get the headers and hopefully the turbo upgrade? What kind of power gains on the 2012?

This is a near unacceptable issue, shame on Ford, they could have easily designed around this.

I’m new to the ecoboost. Had coyote my whole life. The 3.5 has impressed me. But I do see the temperature gauge go up when I’m getting into it. What about a 170 degree thermostat?

First truck I bought in 2012 soon as I heard "Ecoboost" conversation was over I picked a 5.0 302ci V8. Thank God for my gut because as a mechanic, Ecoboosts pay the most % of my wages! Ecotrash more like it.

any of that "lava twill" material slowly breaks down leading to a dusty (probably) toxic engine bay environment. i wrapped my headers, i got itchy every time i worked near it. if you stand in the sun and blow it you'll see heaps of fabric dust everywhere

Man I really wish this video would’ve been available a year ago when I installed both of the Garrett turbo’s in my Gen 2. It was absolutely a challenging install, but more than a year later and my truck is running strong.

When would this kit be available first the gen 3 2021-2024 raptors ?

Good advice in the old days too...but more so because having a dampener go out at full Rpm and wiping out all the belted accessories AND losing the race.....Big breath SUUUUCKS! This is why we put a spare wastegate set to 15psi on the coolent system. So when the head gasket goes and 45+ psi of manifold pressure (BOOST!) hits your 15psi cooling system, everything square goes round and all the hoses tear and burst in a cloud of fog/steam...Sometimes the unforeseen can have a MAJOR impact in an unexpected way. But hey! I never liked those rectangular coolant reservoirs and radiators anyway...

A little surface cracking doesn’t mean shit… definitely not the reason high hp vehicles break cranks

Reliable and turbo don't mix... if you want a truck, you get a v8.
