you don't need to get your ears fixed haha :) yes you do hear scratch, i lubed them ever so slightly bc i like the "scratch" sound signature. Only lubed the stem too if that helps answer your question.

Hi, no this is 100% o-ring mount. I modified the gmk screw-ins to make space for the o-ring. I only had to do this for the spacebar and backspace.

they're pretty light but they are really springy bc of the double spring, pretty smooth stock aswell :)

@@marxkeyboards oh so it is double spring. I am currently using both HEX and HEY. And HEY seems springy to me. HEX is just enough. I am checking other TTCs similar to HEX

This was my 3rd recording lol the first two had snowmobiles ruining the whole thing hahaha

I did EXTENSIVE modding on this keyboard to make it sound "premium" opened it up 10-15 times before this sound test doing small tweaks, pretty nice. Btw this one is the alu version

Kbdfans doesn't sell different plates ither than polycarbonate, and i don't wanna go through the trouble of custom making one haha i wanna hear it too

i can only compare to the qk65 since i have not tried the zoom65, but i will say the tofu jr feels and sounds more "full". the qk65 is more bouncy and more poppy sounding although i prefer the tofu jr in terms of looks and feel, i just felt the qk65 was too muted and "cheap" sounding but that might just be preference. In my opinion the tofu jr is just a little better overall
