Like Bob Dylan, Connor Oberst seems like he’s an alien 👽 I’m not trying to sound like I worship him, but he just seems highly evolved. Most of my life I’ve spent worrying how I’m gonna pay the bills, but those guys just focus on writing songs and life is theirs for the taking…no worries, just focus. Beautiful stuff man! Thank you 🩵

Hey you should feel lucky you got to Europe. Damn if I was able to go back to Europe I'd probably never leave. As a bassist be the melody and create the song. It's what I do b/c it's easy to play melodic chords on bass the amplify or equal the guitar.
Every single mix CD I have put together for friends in the last 5 years begun with "Cape Canaveral". Only fitting that a documentary about Conor starts with the same song. Now it has to end with the Nocturne Opus 9.2 by Chopin and I will feel bliss :) Without joking: Try making a mix CD with these pieces at the start and the beginning. It will be awesome!
They didn’t come it like that though some adults genuinely never lose their baby teeth. I’d say he grinds his teeth in his sleep, did as a kid, or had them shaved down. I will say there’s no way he’s 5’9.
Which is weird because you know he has never used it before, if youre familiar with his lyrics in one of his older songs, where he states: "...And if my engine isnt firing, a mechanic Ill be desperatly inquiring. Maybe if I spent less time being gaped by a butt plug, I could have learned how to gap a spark plug.".. or something along those lines.
Pretty sure Rolling Stone called Conor Oberst the next Bob Dylan when he was 21/22. A good 14/15 years before most of this music was made. This is one of the many bands he’s been in. I like it but I could give or take.
***** wow I'll call that "willful ignorance" on your behalf, by the way it's okay to admit you were wrong about the guy, it's your duty even perhaps as a citizen.
Brennan Riddell They are each indeed a grand addition/gift to humanity! I'm very happy to have seen a hefty handful of COMVB shows in California; I feel extremely lucky to be included in this documentary... Thank you for these now more vivid memories!
Tara Michelle You're in some of these shots? That's crazy awesome! Wish I could have seen some of the COMVB shows - at least I got to see him for his solo tour earlier this year in May. Take care!
Obama cringe 😬

20:33 Anyone know why Joe Rogan got a jacket?? Lol
This documentary desperately needed Taylor Hollingsworth’s humor and rock and roll attitude.

Everyone just complimenting each other..... adorable
Is you're happiness constipated?
Why didn’t they talk about the New Years show they played in Minneapolis before the album was recorded. I was there.
That must’ve been awesome

Connor's teeth too small.

Strongly disagree! He has the most adorable smile!

Who even cares about these things?

Conor's vocals are fucking fantastic on this record.
Could someone please tell me what the song at the start is??
+TheSPumpkin100 Cape Canaveral I believe.
Thanks mate!
TheSPumpkin100 course man
When we are Vulnerable, these things are not possible. But I am glad they are possible for some to sing about and consider.
45:58 Is that the guy who impersonated Conor in the interview after An Attempt to Tip the Scales? They sound so much alike
Negative. That's Nik Freitas at 45:58, Todd Fink is the fake Conor in the interview.
Fink. Is. A. Legend.

+Michael Hadzicki Its kinda hard to do anything when congress cock blocks everything. He doesnt have total control.
This is goin' straight on the olde résumé.
Oberst is such a genius, they all are. Glad you enjoyed the documentary.
