Thank you for doing this video. My family immigrated from Fayal, Acores, Portugal and the first place they lived was on Eden Canyon Road, Castro Valley. For me Eden Canyon is my Paternal Origin Story in America.

Paul, Thanks for the upload. I grew up in Hayward in the 80's/90's. I haven't been back in a long time and was surfing around on RUclips, trying to see if much has changed. I remember going into the old city hall building with cub scout pack. That place has been empty for a while now. I wonder if they are just going to let it rot away.

Did you catch the license plate of the SUV that appeared to speeding starting at 3:45 in the video? It also didn't make a stop at the stop sign and rolled right into the crosswalk before making a "California" stop. :)
