It's crazy that they stopped making this chime. It's one of their old classics. They also got rid of their Chimes of Lun and Chicago Blues Chime which is just mind blowing.

How did you get a costco chime to look like a Music of the Spheres chime?
I recut the tubes since they are the same thickness as the Music of the Spheres alto. Then I undid the top ring and re-strung the whole chime with the new steel ring and slapped a MOTS wind sail on.
The homemade windchime sounds similar to a Corinthian Bells 🎼

@@juelhogg4604 they would be slightly different, similar size but different tune they usually change the windchime each year.
@@airplanefan-zv5ew ok thanks. I just bought them and haven’t put them up yet - just heard them in the store. I like the green ones and the black ones (which are the Costco one). Is this your place with all the windchimes? Would be nice to have all these live,y sounds.

The one at 2:44 is a homemade one that I built out of pipes from a roof rake. 3:46 is the super basso by Santa Barbara Bells I believe that company is out of business now though.
