Which Squeegee and Technique Is Fastest? 14 Second Window Cleaning Challenge!
#windowcleaning #diy #cleaning #cleaningtips
In this video we show you what the fastest squeegee tool and technique was for me by doing a time trial. The results surprised me as I was a fan of the Moerman Liquidator Handle along with the Moerman Excelerator Handle. We pitted this against the Ettoree Handle and Blade and was surprised by the results.
With the traditional window cleaning techniques with mop and squeegee we tried different channel sizes along with different handles and even straight pulls sideways versus straight pulls down. We also tried the S-Technique with the different handles to show you what we found to be the best for us.
Try the 14 second challenge and let us know what...

The Best Way to Clean Your High Windows (ft. Tucker 40)
Просмотров 2112 месяца назад
Check out our thoughts about the Tucker 40 Carbon Fibre Pole. This beast has a 36 foot reach, but when you include arm reach you are looking at 40 feet. It can collapse down to 6feet 8 inches and weigh only 6lbs including the brush. I would have preferred high modulus carbon fibre as the pole as it is does have some flex - actually a little too much for my liking when fully extended. Overall I ...

    As you have so much length why not try not extending the sections fully. This would make it more rigid.

    Wow! This is painful to watch. That glass is going to be full of streaks next day. I don't even know where to begin...wrong angle? Horrible fanning technique? You're fanning huge glass with a 10" channel? Yes, you do have more control but your technique is so bad there's no advantage. You're much better off straight pulling an 18". Best of luck to you brother. Subbed for entertainment 👍

    I would like to see you use the smaller squeegee on the top window videos pretty long. The video would’ve been more impressive if you starter with small squeegee at the top and then use the large squeegee at the bottom . Let ME send you a video on how it should look

    I’m a kiwi window cleaner in Australia. Easy access and ordering of stock and products here, but it’s a right/royal shame that back over there in little ole NZ, seems like you guys have to do all your ordering from Aus suppliers. Also - how are you finding the money window cleaning back there? I really don’t think I’d be able to command the pricing I do here if I ever moved back to NZ…nobody has any money back there. All the best though mate 👍

    All these tools work... Ledger with larger channel. is just as good if not better as well... plus using a professional step ladder if you get you work van right up close is also a. simple uncomplicated way. to work fast. which probably delivers the best quality clean ( nose to glass ). but what tool i use and how i clean depends on the price i get for the work ! most Window cleaners all over the world will be reaching for a. 45 cm. for those types of windows. IMO

    Bon produit mais la barrette et caoutchouc biseauté sont trop fin et laissent des traces.

    • @commentateur6114
      @commentateur6114 5 месяцев назад

      Je préfère la raclette pivotante Unger à zéro degré. Aucune trace restante. Par contre, il faut passer à chaque carreau ou presque du mouilleur à la raclette.

      @@commentateur6114 j'utilise la poignée moerman ecelerator sur la perche car elle est pratique on peut changer l'angle de la raclette selon où on se trouve par rapport à la vitre, mais j'ai mis dessus une barrette unger classique pour ne pas laisser de trace et j'y ai ajouté le mouilleur moerman ( le fliq) qui s'adapte sur les barrette unger.

  • @stevai6732
    @stevai6732 6 месяцев назад

    Good using the liquidator but for these I HIGHLY recommend putting a fliq pad on there and maybe change your angles. Put a little soap directly on the pad, saturate it well, then after applying flick it over to squeegee and you'll get these windows done at least 2 or 3 times faster with practice! Cheers!

    Nice video mate try and get yourself a steccone featherlight 35 cm channel and hand grip and cut it down to 28. or 30 cm i guarantee you you will LOVE it !..... The original left right handed Unger BOAB is the best.. Unger. Ninja i have never had because i still have my original Unger ( discontinued now ). you may still be able to buy this somewhere..... I have a gunslinger. . i dont use. that for residential. but will. come in handy. for certain jobs.... For hand fanning ( not pole work ) get your self the Steccone but a small one like i mentioned ( 30 cm is perfect balance ) ! The best 18 inch ( 45 cm ) handles are probably your classic ettore ( which is Steccone in effect ) in either brass or steel and a straight forward steel channel.. Brass is in my opinion too heavy ........Lewi Germany. do produce a very similar boab to the original Unger Boab and is actually. very good just needs tweeking ( takes 10 minutes ) i bought that last week

    Thats cool but I get the impression that it uses too much water for my liking. Not just yours but in general when I see people use them I think to myself I’m pretty sure the window was already clean 2 minutes ago and the water keeps flowing😂 I’m still going to get one eventually tho🙌🏾🤙🏾 keep up the good work bro!

    • @tjwindowcleaners
      @tjwindowcleaners 8 месяцев назад

      I find it uses less water than you might think. Sometimes I have a little battery powered backpack that carries 20 litres of water and that can do a lot of windows.

      @tjwindowcleaners 8 месяцев назад

      You also need to make sure you switch your water flow off when not using the system. Its easy enough to add a switch on a piece of the hose near your pole.
