Can doing weight exercises help this or would it worsen it ? I have spastic cp as well. I am getting fatigue issues and I have since 2017 and the doctors do not know why, I didn't realise it it could be related to cp, I have started to get twitching muscles but not on my cp side

Do you sleep with a brace also? If not they sell like toms slip ons that are light weight and breathable

You got it Maggie!!! Sorry that I am just now seeing this! You almost had it on the first try, you just kept putting the second string under and not over. I know it is frustrating when you don’t get it right away but you ended up doing just fine. Keep practicing and it will get less frustrating :) I am very proud of you and am here if you need any pointers!

Make sure you get a good job coach. I was a previous job coach and I had a placement rate of 2 months for my individuals. We had a job developer on staff also. You might want to go interview with more programs and advocate for community placements and help. I remember calling around 40 churches for a client who wanted to work in a church and I was able to get them an office position.

I’m very interested in this diagnosis. My husband has severe CP spastic-ataxic diplegia, GMFCS level 4. He’s been experiencing premature ageing and post impairment syndrome for a few years now. It’s so hard to find any information about this for adults. His fatigue is through the roof, just transferring from bed to chair with 2 people assisting is exhausting for him. Getting support services and funding for what he needs is so challenging because there isn’t much research on it.
