This was filmed at South Trigg in the morning, during the span of around an hour. Pretty solid swell but not too many good waves ridden..

Great to see Perth surf looking half decent although it does make me sad to think about how poor the surf here usually is 😢 gave up on it years ago after becoming disenchanted by close out after close out 90% of the time.

Watching that slop (when it’s probably the best day of the year)spins me out that I spent my entire childhood grovelling at that beach break. As bad as it looks when put on this platform (when my feed is full of Jbay , JOB life and Indo) doesn’t matter because it’s still looks fun! Better than nothing…..

I lived over the road from Obs City next to the BP for ages. Best time ever. The best spot was the little island off Hillarys boat harbour, we'd sail the catamarans out there and then paddle out the back. Lot's of seals. Spooky.

Nice Vid mate, What kind of Swell does it need to work? Want to check it out, but looks like a bit of a trek in to find out its flat.
Takes a very big swell- mostly only works in the winter: as it needs around 3 metres for it to work otherwise not very worth going.

I used to have this problem to, try to bend your knees more when turning… everything else is perfect, pop up, paddling evrything
Really liked watching your Video the whole vibe was cool just some ideas for the future: maybe add subtitles because sometimes i had a hard time understanding you bc of the wind and some music would also be cool keep up the grind cool vid
Thanks man ! Appreciate the feedback :) Subtitles are a good idea when it’s hard to hear me for sure ! I’ve been deciding whether or not I want music in some of my videos recently but I think for now I prefer the ‘raw’ feeling of the surf session without the music 🤙
