First and foremost, thanks for watching my videos!
I created this channel from a suggestion another creator made to journal and chronicle their gardening journey. We moved to South Carolina from New York 7 years ago (hence the handle, South Carolina TransPlant).
Since moving to South Carolina (Zone 7b), I've discovered there are some similar yet dissimilar differences in gardening.
In my videos I contrast and compare topics like climate, soil, planting methods, and more! I also discuss how I tend to gravitate towards plants that are more common in the south. I love that they provide a new planting experience; as I've never had the chance to include them in my gardens in the past.

Our neighbors are the best. They love us gardeners. If you all were talking about drying hydrangeas I normally cut mine at the color I want and put them in water (no more than a cup of water) let the water completely evaporate out of the container and I have dried hydrangeas until I’m tired of them and throw them out. I love starts but I know seeds are less expensive so I do a little bit of each. Thanks for sharing your process.

This a great idea and thanks for the video! You should save a lot of cash. I wanted more rosemary and decided to just be patient and propagate. They're rooting in water now. What kind of lavender do you have? I also want to propagate coral bells. Have you done those?
Hi Lady! Yes! I'm going to try Rosemary soon. Thanks for reminding me! My lavender is Munstead variety. I started out with 10 seedlings. As you can see I'm down to 4! They are really tough to grow but I'm being patient. Let me in on more seed ideas! Thanks for watching! 🥰

Wouldn't it be nice if water issues were that easy. The leaks can be tricky. Great that you check for leaks without putting all the tubing on. Great job!!! I have a client who I'm going to setup with drip and it's always intimidating at first but they all flow together and make sense as you go. My favorite part is turning on the water after it's all done and it's dripping like it's supposed to where it's supposed to. Thanks so much for sharing friend.

In the back of my mind, I feel that using drip rings that all have the same gph may be easier to balance. The good thing is that it's all done. I started watching this video and got busy. Now I’m back watching now that I have time. Piedmont sounds like MO. The saying is wait a second and it will be different (weather temps & fluctuations). I love, love, love having drip irrigation attached to a timer. It has been a lifesaver and peace of mind if you travel and even if you don’t. Genius.
