'Pallavi', is a combination of pure dance pieces performed to 'bols', which are strings of rhythmic syllables. A pallavi weaves intricate patterns of movement that run parallel with the bol based on a Raaga. This piece is choreographed by Guru Gangadhar Pradhan. Music is composed by Guru Ramahari Das, based on Raaga Rageshree and Taal Ektali.

Yes, the language is Odia. Odissi dance is performed on the traditional Odissi music.
