I too have just got a Gevril - the UK 'street-price' is 350$ - not 3,500. I have had no issues, I haven't timed it yet - but all of the issues described in this review I have not experienced - and someone else doing a review had very positive experience with their support, also regarding the bracelet - which wasn't broken per se. I think it is very good quality ( not perhaps 3k good quality) and very good value for money.... The finish is great, the movement is excellent - bracelet secure and high-quality - nothing cheap about that.... I would recommend at the 'street-price'.

Want a real diver's watch at an unbeatable price... I have a total of 20 Deep Blue Dive watches. NH35 movements. Value for money they're hard to beat. When they get them in they go fast.

People dont seem to know that sistem51 watches AUTOMATICALLY TURNS ITSELF OFF after 48 hrs of no movement. Looking at the stories I hope they did not throw their watches away without ever figuring out that they just need to MOVE the watch so it keeps working again.

I own the Gevril Yorkville 48604 i wear daily its more comfortable and secure then some of my grail watches. I think you just got it from a bad seller not sure. Love my Gevril

How is the broken bracelet the watch makers fault? You bought it used, buy it from the original manufacturer and you will see a difference. My guess is you bought a remanufactured watch. I purchased their gv2 stadium and it is literally perfection. Especially being that it is hand made.

Do you need a special tool to swap out the strap? I tri wheel screwdriver? i think thats what its called. I'm looking for strap options for my oris aquis 39mm. ANd i think the tudor north flag is almost identical in size and style strap. 22x12. and mine is 21x11. SO i think i can make it fit..

Um, no. 100% cappin', as they say. I bought a GV2 Scuderia that had such good build quality, that I went for a Gevril. Anytime you can find a Swiss auto with excellent fit and finish for under a grand, you're winning. Definitely not helpful to review a second hand watch. Such an odd thing to decide to do. I'd say, get a new one, size it properly, and get back to us.

I understand that it's 2 years late but misinformation is STILL misinformation no matter how long it's been ..... THAT is NOT how a helium release valve works! Curious that an experienced diver would pass on information like that.

Bought the 300 and the bracelet should be the same. Bracelet is actually good, but I‘m also curious how the Doxa rubber bracelets hold up
