I think when the mask clasps shut and Darth Vader takes his first breath in the mask is the most cathartic moment in the entire Star Wars saga. I waited a quarter of a century to see that moment ever since Darth Vader said to Luke Skywalker "I am your father" in The Empire Strikes Back. I think Revenge Of The Sith is second only to The Empire Strikes Back in terms of the best Star Wars movie.

Imagine believing for close to 20 years that you killed your wife and unborn child. When Luke tells Vader to let go of his hate I always thought as kid that it was hate manifested by the DS. After this movie I realized the hate Vader couldn't let go of was the hate he had for himself. One of the most tragic characters ever created.

What if his face itches ? How does he blow his nose or wipe the sleep out of his eyes or eat ?

Palpatine may have lied to Darth Vader but he was telling the truth in some fashion. Anakin indirectly killed Padme because he broke her heart after he fell to the dark side. So you could say Palpatine lied but also spoke the truth
