@@Akwardnoobif you pick sandbox mode instead of apocalypse and go to the little bar at the bottom and click "preset" i think you can select stuff like, "6 months later", "initial infection" and "one week later"

damn thats cool. i once found a survivor home stashed with ammo. though i couldn't find any firearms. and another survivor home in the same world was filled with melee weapons and stuff.
I was playing with the sandbox settings "initial infection" so I think it made the loot more frequent
@@rian_woods me too. I'm new to project zomboid. So I play custom sandbox and I play on the initial infection stage too.
Once I found 2 survivors houses in the same place, touching each other. Ngl, I got alot of stuff from that like melees, but the big loot was a sledgehammer I was needing for my base
