Heya, really enjoying the listen. Where can I find the previous conversation?
<3 <3 <3
This is sooo good! Part 2!
Criminally under listened to interview. New to Carlos and I appreciate your efforts to document his process and outlook on making music and collaboration.
Nick always seems to display some animosity or downplay his time with Rockplle and/or Dave Edmunds. Must be some deep wounds. It was a glorious moment for fans if his music. If there was ever a reunion worthy of happening, it would be a Rockpile reunion.
amazing interview
part 2 let's go
Thanks AD
I’m the first viewer and the first commenter. How fortunate! Wadada’s interviews are far too underrated.
Where can we find the contact of Chris Swanson ?
To be a great writer you have to first have an interesting mind. Add to that a unique and mysterious voice and you've got Ken Layne. Thanks Jason. Always enjoyed hearing you on Ken's show. This was a treat to hear him on your show.
What an absolute pleasure to find this playing when i came back Nick Lowe blast from the past great stories He's been there done it all think a lot of muso's should listen to this many words off wisdom Lol thinking of words Bowi Low thing That is purely english humour no one would take any offence in that Like if they where in a room together and Bowie said oh my new album is Low Nick may say Oh I'm honoured or something along those lines a jokey type reply For all non English it is not offensive in any way Please don't bring the PC Brigades into it
Great interview! To quote Nick's mom, there was considerable "insight" in the conversation. The interviewer actually knows Nick's career well and as a consequence, I learned quite a lot about Nick Lowe in terms of songwriting, his recordings and performing live. Nick, like fine wine has gotten better with age!
34:41 "Next album: Anime??" lmao
such a joy to listen to, thank you both
It is a shame that the economics of real record making precludes authentic artists like Nick Lowe to continue with long play studio works. We still have him gracing the boards, let’s hope he finds the muse to continue with the EP’s.
Love Nels Cline and his scope of expression. Can listen to him all day and not get bored.
this was lovely, thank you both!
I love Drama, I think it’s a rich and beautiful album.
This interviewer was great. He didn't act like an over the top attention seeker but instead asked J Mascis really good questions that I wanted to hear because they were different questions that hadn't been asked a thousand times before. Really enjoyed this interview.
what a very good talk! thank you guys for the deep chat, I appreciate so much 🙏🏻 and Rodrigo thank you for your art and way of expression, it’s very natural and beauty path 🌞🙌🏼🙏🏻🕉
great book great podcast!
Wtf dude
Pera normal. I'll just leave this here
Dumbest questions ever. Absolutely dumb.
🔥🔥
nice interview! thank you!
Psalms is a great album. One of the best of the year, in my opinion. I`ve been listening to Nathan`s solo stuff, as well with Joan Shelley and Jim Elkington for 3-4 years and he is one of the best guitarists I know. Should be a star, but I`m glad he still makes the music he wants.
😍😍😍
such a good podcast/interview! Great questions! Rodrigo was so engaged in it as well.
I'm disappointed in the new record but I still love you
Love me some rod
no one knows this guy is THEE GUY? ugh. FOT FOR LIFE!
You’re questions suck
😃
Groovy
I love J. and have watched and listened to a lot of interviews. He's a tough interview, and you pulled a lot of great stuff out of him.
What is that under the egg
I’d love to see a ‘conversation’ between Keith Richards and J. THAT would be priceless. Ozzy might have to step in to keep things going
What song is this????
I Met The Stones
this is great
great interview!
Joe Pera for President!!!
Joe Perasident
Great interview and so grateful to have going TMG during the pandemic. Late to the party but can’t get enough now!
I only discovered them last year myself. Helped me through all this insanity for sure
Ahhh, I love this.
Don't know why it took months for the YT algorithm to serve this up in my feed, but I'm sure glad it did. A most enlightening interview. Subscribed.
You literally ask highway man if his style is different than Joe paras And he actually answers you as if he was doing a shitty Joe para impersonation. Screw you guys. I guess that's why you only have 30 subscribers
It is really annoying that you 2 are stealing joe peras shtick in his face. Joe is funny and satisfying. You guys are ignorant for doing that it is really bothering me. So I'm out.
12 minutes in and joe pera had one sentence. This is why you only have 4 comments and 400 views. Plus you 2 are biting his comedy style. Its clear you 2 are doing his vocal bit for the first 5 mins. And you both trail off until 15 mins in and you hear pera talk again. Then you pic it back up again. And start to trail off again when he is quiet for a few mins. Way to not be original
Yeah fuck these guys let's get a real pera podcast
That's the shows co-executive, co-writer, etc of season 2... Read the freaking YT bio
This is good.
