Loud & Clear Edinburgh has its showrooms in Leith. It was established with the express intention of bringing a carefully selected range of high performance audio equipment to music lovers in Edinburgh and beyond.
We boast a fully open plan gallery style showroom with cosy listening areas and the best sounding demonstration room in the UK. Over the years, we have organised many events, from product launches to live concerts. We even curated art exhibitions.

Hitachi SDT-7785 Music Centre

On the bench in our very own Repair Shop: an Hitachi SDT-7785 Music Centre. Tape deck, record player and radio tuner rolled into one! You don't see these everyday! This one was down on one channel and very crackly. Now as good as new after being fitted a new cartridge and enjoying a thorough chemical cleaning of the pots and switches. Looking great and sounding pretty good ;-) Check what we can...

Our shop manager Iain loves nothing more than setting up a turntable. And this isn't any turntable. It's a feat of engineering that is as beautiful to watch as it is to listen to: it's the VPI Avenger Reference fitted with a Goldy cartridge. Iain is here enjoying the final check and audition in the conservatory...
