What kind of paper do you use? And where can you get it?
I used Arches Aquarelle 185gsm (90lbs) Hot Pressed watercolor paper. I don't think the brand matters so much but the weight really does. Amazon is out right now but I bet local art stores would have something that works.

That's correct, in order to add a disposable filter. If you don't intend to use it that way (I don't), then you could just top stitch that gap closed after you press it.

What are the dimensions for children?
For a small child's mask, the dimensions are 7.5 x 10 inches, and the elastic is 5 inches long. For a large child's, the dimensions are 8 x 11 inches, and the elastic is 5.5 inches.
