Was an amazing place before the overdevelopment. Its gone now. Developers made a lot of money. Those houses are not cheap.

I almost think they should develop a similar system to snapper rocks and pump sand into the water to recreate the perfect flat bottom of the past that came naturally from the sand dunes that have since been covered in plants and houses.

Having made three trips to SA, over the span of 30 years, I can say that the over-development of Cape St. Francis and Jeffrey's Bay is heartbreaking to say the least.

To be fair, isn’t the point of a cutback to stay “in the curl” of the wave? Pretty classic manuvre in surfing.
