@ empirical observation. You’re shooting from the left shoulder and the spare cartridges are oriented in the right side typical for right shoulder shooting.

@@Bobdixon_Moonvarga_Dancer_III Im not noticing any downsides here. The ammo is on the same side the loading gate is which is an upside. Less distance from new cartridges, to the loading gate, and a more direct path which tends to translate to more consistency. So for that reason, I set it up like this. To my knowledge unless it is obstructing a proper shooting stance there is no definitive proper side for a side saddle

I found 30 rounds. That's pretty standard for the AR-15 platform.

@ probably, i just found him shooting like 13 targets at 3 shots each a bit weird. Never said it wasn’t possible. Could be an extended mag.

Tbh I’m just more accustom to iron sights. I was pretty decent with a dot on pistols for a couple months there, but stopped after my M&P screws sheared off, and my PC 625 started skipping chambers. I could mount an optic, but I just never did, so now im better with irons for pistol shooting. Long guns im pretty solid wit both, but I hate tiny peep hole iron sights. I love ak irons

Not yet, but I’ve just been busy since the match. It’s an easy fix tho. Ive done this before with my 625. Back when I was new to drawing from holster the front sight would snag real good on the holster every 25-50 draws. Hardly happens now, but the roll pin is so tiny it cant handle as much abuse as mounting screws can. I have like 4 spare pins on hand just for this occasion. They are pretty cheap

@@kymchristiantorres7670 I appreciate the suggestion, but I can confirm this is not the culprit. Winchester white box uses military grade primers which means the material is a bit thicker, and tougher compared to something like federal, or blazer. These beefier primers are usually not a problem for striker fired, or auto loaders in general, but it gets iffy with revolvers. Shooting WWB i can expect about 5% of them to not fire on average, but there are always exceptions/outliers. Also the rest of the match seemed average regarding the light strikes, so the issue didn’t get worse it actually got better compared to this run. Yeah I always tighten the mainspring screw all the way for that reason tho. I have yet to have a fully tightened MS screw walk out on me, but I have experienced it when its not maxed out

@@kymchristiantorres7670 i use Winchester white box 100 packs, because they frequently have the smoothest crimps from casing to bullet. This is best for ensuring smooth reloads more consistently

@@danielrichards4927 yeah thay are going to slow up here. The outdoor season is over in michigan, but there are a few indoor matches I’ll be attending. Ive also got some older runs that I haven’t posted yet that I’ll likely revisit. Im looking forward to next season tho now that Ive got a bit of real experience under my belt

I’ll get one eventually. Im just experimenting on a budget for now, which makes content nonetheless. If the product sucks it’s a win for content. If it’s good it’s a double win imo. Im just here to see what happens as I go. One day tho ill have some nice guns lol

@ yeah ill try that out some day too. Ive got a .357 pietta on the way, but if you haven’t seen the firing pin on my lever gun broke. The pin that holds the firing pin in place is stuck stuck. I was trying to punch it out for like 30 min straight. Im just going to get a different lever gun and use mine for dry practice.

The belt itself is a Safari land competition belt, but the shell holders were from some website that I forget the name of. The holders I use don’t even have a brand name lol. If you google coach gun double shell holders you’ll find some options tho

So this was recorded about 30 shells before that happened to my buddy. I haven’t shot it since that day, but i did shoot a few shells after that happened to him. I also dry fired some more, and every time the hammers snapped separately like how they should. I gotta learn more about these guns to even take a guess as to what happened that time, because Ive got no clue! It was pretty funny tho

@ I’m sure it was funny as hell with that recoil. I am curious though, did you have two primers struck by it? I wonder if he somehow managed to almost bounce fire it from the recoil EXTREMELY quickly

@ Imo the shots were too close together even for a bump fire. Seemed like they both went off within the same millisecond which seems too fast for a bump fire. Ive just never seen it happen that fast

@ in that case I’m gonna have to look up a parts diagram and figure out how it swaps from one side to the other with either a circular or linear change over before I can think of anything else. That was the best option I could think of lol.
