When I started to "DIY" I was very intimidated and definitely hesitant because I'm not a crafty queen. I had no skills but when I want something for my home, buying new just never feels good. As I keep trying and failing, everything is a learning experience. And as I deconstruct items, I see how things are built. Here in the US, a lot of items are "cheaply made" but it works. All this to say, anyone who says "you're doing it wrong" fuck off. Starting somewhere is how you learn. Sharing it online while learning is valuable information. Not everything needs to be perfection, it's refreshing to see others trying and feeling proud of their progress!
