I like the design a lot, but there don't seem to be many functional options when going to order like automated vents or louvres?

screw for the door break to easily it's just poor quality screws, instructions can be better

The worst company ever. So much money collected and the manual is useless. They want you to pay £500 more to have them build it. Don’t buy from them unless you have to waste

I have just fitted this capping on a Halls Cotswold Birdlip. To do it I used my trim removal tool that I bought for removing car trim panels. I made sure the top of the capping was correctly located then with one finger on top pressing down to keep the the top of the capping in place under the lip I pressed the flat end of the plastic trim tool to push on the bottom of the capping across the glass until I felt it locate. Then moved along the capping using the trim tool to press it into place and using my finger on the top to keep the top of the capping seated correctly until I reached the other end. Once I got into a routine with it I found it worked fairly well for me. I was advised to keep the capping somewhere warm because it becomes harder when it is colder. I would have really struggled if using just my fingers to do it and the plastic trim tool was less likely to damage anything. But everyone is right the instructions are not good if you've never done it before.

How hard can it be to give more detailed instruction in manual ?

This video has no information whatsoever he measured the sizes of seals and never passed on the sizes no close up pictures of what distance it is from end of glass these windows are very poorly designed even the four self tapping screws are too short only 3mm of grip Yes definitely a really bad design

It's much harder than it looks! The trick is to get the gap between the glass and frame even on both sides, which is difficult enough, then be prepared for very sore thumbs... Not impossible though.

It's fitting the top of the door that's the tricky part yet there are no clear instructions for that anywhere. The door just fell out of mine, which is very dangerous. Luckily the cat wasn't passing and it was toughened glass.

The amount of force required to get these to clip in is huge. It seems like the plastic isn't springy enough. I googled for help but this video makes it look easy. So far I am finding it impossible!

Details in the manual do seem scant. Drawings don’t show orientation clearly, door construction is particularly devoid of detail. A couple of days would see it constructed, but time would be saved by using better detailed instructions.

Hopeless instructions, avoid Eden greenhouses.

The door is not fitted. Did you miss out the last 3/4 of the video?

To THE PUBLIC, do not EVER buy a Halls Greenhouse, unless you have 2 weeks to spare . The instruction manual, a Martian could not work out. I've had my LEAN-TO out in the garden for 3 weeks now, its a nightmare to build from the manual. And this clown is building a 'UNIVERSAL' door, I don't have the same door? There are no video's and the pictures in the manual are pathetic. There again if you do want a Hall Greenhouse ask to look at the manual first, that should put you RIGHT OFF! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Awkwardly sloppy work there... Also, if you happen to have the 6mm polycarbonate version, good luck. It's practically impossible. Also what are those measurements he is taking? None of the poor quality instructions have those.

If you try making these yourself they must be made from spring steel and have to be heat treated afterwards ,if made from mild steel they will not have enough spring in them to hold the glass in place

oooh, i wonder if that is how i lost panes in high winds, all mine are fitted wrong lol

Hi. I have recently been asked to repair a greenhouse/ conservatory that uses these clips. It is 35 years old. There were plastic cover strips on each side of the glass, unfortunately, being so old, I could not re-use them once complete. Anyone know where I might buy replacements. Cheers

I often can't get them in that way so I do them the other way. Seems to hold the glass as well, but then My Eden greenhouse is ancient and may had narrower frames to clip into back then. Also the clips were different originally, not wire ones
