PASSOC Project

The PASSOC (Philippine Arts and Social Studies in the Ontario Curriculum) Project is a collaboration between the TCDSB and York University. It aims to create curriculum content that reflects the cultural identity of the large and increasing number of Filipino students in the school system. The curriculum content will affirm Filipino experiences and identities, and will ‘mainstream’ the Philippines as a topic of study in three subject/grade areas: Grade 6 Social Studies, Grade 6 Dance, and Grade 8 Geography.
