Way too vid-poppy of a video for the song. It needs a more organic feel. This is a introspective relic of a song and putting all these glitz decorations over it hinders the message and is confusing. This is a soul song not a neo-pop song. Thank you DJ Shadow. Just my opinion. Vultures, you may now all commence upon me.

No, he literally tried. Davis knows his stuff. You gotta be careful when crate-digging like he does. You could find something really dope, and then by an off chance the artist could still be recording, or some B.S. label's still selling it somehow. If he ever WERE to find out who the vocalist was, of course he'd give them credit. Shadow's cool like that.

See, I can respect that opinion. You recognize that he's not trying to do the exact same stuff he always did, and if you don't like it, that's O.K. Artists can't just stay the exact same and expect to still put out well-selling records. And I'm assuming The Outsider's been doing well enuff (tee-hee) for Davis. Sure, it'll never be as legendary as Endtroducing, no question. But I love all of his stuff, personally. I love "weird" music, though, that could just be me. 83
