Brazilian born producer/DJ Waltervelt returns to Maceo Plex’s Ellum label with a pair of slick and sophisticated tracks on the ‘Modern Slip’ single release.
Last popping up on 2023’s Ellum Sampler V3 EP, Waltervelt has since fired out singles for labels such as Dynamic, Octopus Recordings and Stripped Recordings. Over a production career that kicked off in 2016, Waltervelt has forged a unique sound characterized by atmospheric textures, pulsating basslines, and intricate rhythms that reflect his passion for exploring the emotional and sensory depths of electronic music.

I remember hearing this for the first time. Maceo dropped this in Mondo, Madrid and I thought I was gonna lose my fucking mind 😂. That was the weekend he played because the Monegros festival was cancelled last minute. That was an awesome weekend. 😂
