Yeah, my camera wasn’t able to pick up as much as I would have liked with how dark it was inside. It is a clone, so there are other coasters with an identical layout that I used footage of in my review, if you wanted to check out those off ride videos. I haven’t seen any light on POVs or off rides of this coaster, as far as I know. Glad to hear you were able to get to VinWonders!

The helix at the end can hurt me a lot with its positive Gs. Normally I figure the rest of the coaster will beat me up, but then when it doesn’t really, I’ll let me guard up and get knocked around by the helix. On the day I record this POV, I already wasn’t in a good state as Boomerang and the various spinning rides had done a number on me.

This coaster was made when they were trying to distance themselves from some of the negative stuff with their animals. The other attractions in a similar style at their other parks didn’t last long from what I can tell

Yeah - I was really hoping it was up and running as I was driving there. Tacked it onto my trip up to Amarillo, so wasn’t too terrible to do that way other than driving to Amarillo and back in a two day span. Did you ever make it over to Big Rivers?

I like the touch of launching and landing inside Siam Amazing Park for sure! Helps one believe 😁

I got some okay forces in the back - but I am glad to know someone likes the SBF Spinners, as they’re not one of my favorites. It probably is the best one in Texas of the SBF Spinners when just taking the spinning cars into account. Big River’s edges out Storm Chaser in my rankings because of its hamster wheel (and the ability to ride it again without having to pay more).

@@southtexascoasters that one is way better with the ejector pop for sure. I actually rank it pretty high just for that one moment. Even though it is an SBF Spinner. I don’t count it as such. Since it is actually good 🤣

I didn’t find it too intense, but everyone kind of has different versions of what they consider intense. I think something is intense if it beats me up or otherwise causes me to feel a little bit sick. Wrath of Zeus was super smooth start to finish. Like, it almost needed a bit more forces just to give a bit more character in the second half.

I was able to go on that when I was a kid - I have a review for it as well, from what I can remember. The setting in the trees was really great on Serpent for sure!

Both are really fun - it took me along time to decide which I like better, and likely some of the best coasters in the region, though I haven’t ridden many others on this list yet. Getting to see and experience roaring Timbers is unique for sure, and its forces are great. Is Roaring Timbers starting to run a bit rougher? I’m just worried that it won’t be able to remain semi smooth going forward with it sitting out in the heat.

@RollerCoastersOfThailand I have no idea how smooth it was back then but yeah it was pretty rough now. Thought that's how wooden track behaves, it gets scarier through the years.

@@afandimustapa7143 Yeah, I figured it’s likely going to get rough going forwards. Which isn’t terrible, but probably won’t pair well with the strong positive Gs in its valleys. Still a really special ride in an incredible setting!

Yeah. Even though I rounded up people to get to the minimum rider amount, someone else still took the front row on that ride. They let me have the front row on my third ride after I ran up and down the midway making it happen 🤣 Also, thanks for watching and commenting. @DavesAdventures True. I just post my POVs and off-ride videos because I have them, and in case any content creator needs footage of which ever park or coaster I visited, so I’m not too concerned if they get a lot of views or not.

That’s the story of this coaster for sure. The weird lateral jerks in the valleys makes the positive G moments really enjoyable. Which is strange since I’m normally not a huge fan of positive Gs. I’m just grateful I was able to find enough people at the park to ride with me 🤣

It took me a while to get over not being scared of the free fall feeling in my stomach. Sometimes I still forget I’m not scared of it 🤣 The drops weren’t too bad on this, but everyone does feel drops a little differently. Hopefully you’ll give it a try next time!

I’ve been hitting my head a lot Stringray Racer lately - been closing my eyes to try and not lose my contacts with the water, but then I keep bumping my head. Haven’t gotten to take the hills backwards. Seems like a wild experience. Likely scary, but hopefully fun 🤔

Always great to see your support! I didn't realize coasters like E.R.S. existed with more traditional coaster trains. How are the laterals on that coaster? Seems like there's some possibility for decent laterals, but not sure how the speed holds up. Congrats on getting close to a 100 credits for sure. My 100th credit was Dr. Diabolical's at Six Flags Fiesta Texas (was hoping to get it while traveling around Thailand, as I was at 99 credits, but ran into a few defunct coasters at the places I stopped).

It took me a while to build up to not being scared of coasters, so congrats on conquering and enjoying a big one!

It is very much a kiddie coaster, but the laterals around the helix are strong and enjoyable. So, at least for me, it edges out some of the bigger coasters in Thailand (and the United States for that matter).

That’s fair. Wrath of Zeus has some power, especially on the top hat! Eagle Warrior is great in its own way as well. Did they have the preshows going for Eagle Warrior? Just trying to find someone who has experienced them.

Is there a layout or model of the Eagle Warrior? I’ve always been too scared to go on big scary coasters and this one is probably the scariest I’ve ever ridden on. I’m curious about what it looked like lol.

@@user-nb5ey8te7f Eagle Warrior packs a pretty solid punch, so hopefully you can feel confident to ride other bigger coasters going forwards! There should be some off-ride of clones in my review of Eagle Warrior.

Pretty lucky from the hurricane. Just branches down around my apartment complex. No real damages. My job was closed today, so missed a shift there. My wife’s job has been closed the last three days as well. Which on one hand was nice in that she needed a break, but also missing the money from working. My dad had a tree fall on his house. Guess that’s going to be like $8,000+ to get fixed… how did you do with the hurricane?

Lost power branches fell on our street the entire house got destroyed it’s hot and it seems like Hurricane Harbor Lost power because the park has not been opened Traffic Lights are completely off in Spring it’s really bad up here

@@adventureswithadam394 No fun still being without power... :( I imagine it will take a couple of days for Hurricane Harbor to get back up and going. Big Rivers sent out an email saying they won't be open until Friday, at the earliest. About half the traffic lights are off up here in Conroe. Looks like the Woodlands has got most of its power back -- saw a lot of people chilling at the Woodlands mall today, presumably to get out of the heat. Hang in there!

It’s a nice little kiddie coaster, though it is a bit more mild than its other clones in Texas. Though, depending on one’s tastes, that could be a good thing!

Cliffhanger is nice in the back row, and if I get a middle seat. Iron Rattler has really been growing on me with my more recent rides for sure!

Ah, what’s your favorite?

I’ve been to the New Braunfels location a fair amount while I was growing up, but only once recently back in 2021, though it is by far the best water park I’ve been to. Though lines were crazy long in 2021, even on a weekday so it seems unfortunate that you likely will need to buy fast pass visiting there now a days. I’ve never been to the Galveston location, for some reason. The South Padre Island location (rebranded after the family solid Schlitterbahn) was wonderfully set up when I went with how you floated off the lazy river into all the water coaster lines.

I focused on Thailand’s coasters first, but would love to get more coaster credits all around South East Asia. Currently I’m living and based out of Houston, Texas in the USA. I also like the roller coaster tycoon pun if you shorten it to RC Thai.

@@jamesscott3070 Hair Raiser looks beautiful from the POVs I’ve seen. I’m not gonna have much money to travel for a while, especially around Asia, but I’d love to get to Hong Kong and China some day. I went to Hong Kong when I was in school with a group, and love the look of the city with the harbor, the sky scrapers, and then green hills behind them. Haven’t been captivated with the beauty of a city like that since. One day! But it’s gonna be a while, sadly. Thanks for the encouragement for sure though!

Depends on the price. They can get pretty expensive fast from what I’ve seen. If you can get the $30 evening pass with the 5 single shots like I did, that might be a good way to hedge your bets. Weekdays at over Texas this summer have been fairly reasonable with the lines the two days I’ve went. If you want extra rides on La Vibora or don’t want to wait an hour for Mr. Freeze, it might be worth considering. They’ve also removed all the single rider lines, so you can’t as easily ride on some of the lower volume coasters like Joker or Pandemonium.

The drops on this messed with your stomach? They seemed pretty mild to me, but that’s good to know they pack a punch for some. Likely the reason they’re more on the mild side to keep this coaster as accessible to everyone as it can. The laterals on the turns are the best part for sure. (I also hated the stomach drop feeling on coasters for years growing up - now I kind of seek it out but can’t find it anywhere. It’s strange, I’m on a ride way up high being all afraid like - but what if this gives me a bad stomach drop feeling, only to be disappointed when it doesn’t give me anything).

They have had some rides closed on my visits, but normally no more than 4, not including the standing but not operating rides that are no longer listed on their websites and such. They also had closures listed at the ticket booth, at least on my visits. Though, it’s an inherent risk of going to any amusement park that some rides might be closed and/or rides close during the day for weather or maintenance purposes.

IF the RIDES are closed they should have a prior notice. But they just mention after we purchase the tickets and they never forget to say that the ticket is non-refundable. In the ticket they mention that rides are unlimited. But after we go there some rides start at a delayed schedule. So it is not unlimited.

I actually enjoyed the laterals. It might be small in size, but packs a punch better than some other coasters. Hoping to get to Amarillo at some point this summer. Than I’d only have a few coasters left that have either been closed or at the parks I haven’t been to (Cliff Carver and COTAland I haven’t been to, plus Dewberry Farm but should knock that out in the fall). Austin was nice trip really.

@@CrazyWharf625 You’re very close. Jealous! Double check with Big Rivers that Roller Thunder is opened. A rider operator reached out to me about their new drop tower, and he said roller thunder is down this week waiting on a part (was supposed to be in on Friday).

I think this is my favorite as well (still need to finalize my rankings). Drop plays well, but I’m not sure the spinning cars help this layout. Could be a lot better with different types of cars, I think. But I like what it tries to do.
