We all have stuff in life to accomplish I have other things that I want to do now since we recently moved to a new place and now we have a garage I am going to start to get back into Joinery making things and restoring things. So I've been cutting back on making videos so I can start to accomplish my goal of being a Joinery as I would like to have a business again, selling things that I make like garden furniture like planters. It was a pleasure getting to know you and thanks for playing with me on my first co-op profile.

Build like 10 entrances at the start to make a sort of a canon which launches you 10x speed into the tube
The coral formations can be harvested with the chainsaw.
Have you made an object scanner yet? That is what you need to start finding hard drives, slugs, mercer spheres and somersloops. Makes the whole thing alot easier.
The green canisters on the backs of some of the machines is called blaze, if you shoot it with a fire arrow if will cause an explosion, later you will find some with dark blue which is electric, then some with light blue which is frost, so it will put the dinosaurs into that state, when you see a white ring depleting above the dinosaur with the element inside it means they are in that state, frozen one in what is called the brittle state regular arrows deal more damage. the fast travel packs if you bring up your map, you can go to any fire that you have previously visited they are white so can travel to them direct if it is grey on the map you haven't found it yet.
I am mistaken I think the campfires are green you can fast travel to, not played this game for a long time, used to the forbidden west map

@@StephenSurvives You are most welcome, I've played this game and forbidden west so many times. I am really enjoying your videos, there are many things to learn and it takes a while. Some I didn't pick up until my second play through. But what I did learn that was helpful, if you go to your menu and choose machine catalogue, you can select a machine and it shows you what it is weak to which is very helpful. in this game, fire is the best element, it will bring down the health of machines fast. Also in your menu, you have treasure boxes, if you open them can get things such as health potions and shards. each merchant has one you can get for free.
I like this game, it's got very scary vibes. I don't think I could play it, I think you are doing great figuring out the puzzles. I would still be trying to figure out the first one. I am enjoying watching you play it very much.

@@StephenSurvives Yeah I can hear all the whispers and voices and stuff in the gameplay. One thing I noticed though is when you are fighting and they say it's almost over or something to that effect. You still ended up like having 5 more dudes to fight, so they are lying to you. LOL It is helpful when they say to watch your back at least.
I think maybe that little fire icon above the enemy when you shoot them with the fire arrows means they are on fire, so maybe they need to be on fire for a little bit before they blow up. Maybe, this is a cool game but there is so much technical stuff and I'm wondering with all the different things you are picking up some of them look like electronic chips, I wonder if those are used in crafting.
There is a lot to learn about this game. My poor little brain struggles with it. I bet you are right about the fire icon. I think sometime in the next few days the game is releasing a remastered version of the game. Gameplay is the same but the graphics are supposed to be much better. Thanks so much for watching! Few tips for you, your bottom left icons that you can scroll, if you buy the silent strike perk, you can use lure call(the exclamation mark icon) hide in tall grass, use the lure call a machine will come to you and if a small machine will instantly kill it. or you can throw a rock away from where you are to distract an enemy once it moves towards the rock you can sneak past them. fast travel you can go to the map, then select a village or any discovered camp fire select travel and you will go straight to it
This is good stuff! I am trying to figure things out but there sure is a lot going on in this game. Knowing which skills to focus on when you've never played before is just a shot in the dark. Go back to the gate where you first met Varl, Can't remember the name, there is a merchant just outside, you have some tokens that gets you some free weapons(part of the complete edition package) I haven't played for a long time, was just watching your videos to get ready for the remastered version so I can see the difference.
I almost didn't start playing because of the upcoming remaster. I started to wait. I'm glad I didn't; i'm really enjoying this game. I'm looking forward to Forbidden West next.
@@StephenSurvives Forbidden west is amazing so much more graphically pleasing. once you get further into Zero dawn when you start travelling. I think once you have done those 2 corrupted zones the map opens more, there is a lot to explore. if you go to the people with green exclamation marks they give you side quest, which can be found in your quests tab, just choose to activate then that mission become the one you are on. I recommend doing all side quests as they give you skill points and increase your level (top right hand corner is your level and how many points you need to get the next level. this is one of my favourite games. that and Forbidden west. I recomend shooting a few foxes so you can get a fox skin, then once you get to one of the settlements on the way to meridian you can buy a gold fast travel pack which allows you unlimited travel.
I think the twinkly ground is lighting up the path you need to take for your quest. I've never played this but I feel its there for some reason. I could be totally wrong about it though, just a guess. Also, just to put this out there, I have a heart attack everytime she rappels, because she's just jumping off whatever, that's crazy.

So funny that you actually glitched through the floor a bit in that cauldron fight and managed to get out in the end! 😅 It really looked like you got stuck under the crab! 😂 If you are looking for new weapons I would recommend going straight for the purple weapons and to get one of each (hunter, war, and sharpshot bow) that's pretty much all you need! And when you get to Daytower you may also be interested in the "golden travel pack". Keep up the good work! 😁

@@StephenSurvives thanks for the content! Every bow and ammo type has it's use but a good strat is to switch between them mid fight. As soon as a machine is fully affected by an element (fire, frost, shock) for example, you can stop fiering those arrows and switch to more damaging ones from the hunter or sharpshot bow. 😁 The corruption arrows (war bow) will make an enemy go berserk and attack anything near it. Those can be lots of fun to use on big groups of enemies. The sharpshot bow also have tearblast arrows which are great for knocking off armor and components but basically does no damage by themselves. Lastly, the circle with the three stars over a machines head just indicates that it is "knocked down" and will be immobilized for a short duration. (Great time to get to cover, do damage or move in for a critical strike) 😁
