My wife and I stayed here in the Spring of 2018. We were in Ireland for a week and this was the best place we had stayed. In my opinion it was better than Ashford Castle and half the price. The owners were delightful and both cooks. The food was definitely better that Ashford Castle. It is a lovely place and so peaceful and it is as beautiful as the footage here. At Ashford Castle we were pretty much ignored by the staff and only got attention when it came to paying the bill. I would definitely stay here again.

If I was to select an example of ecological destruction and neglect on an industrial level in Ireland the lakes of Conn and Cullin would be it ..the draining of the river Moy by a handful of landowners along its banks destroyed these beautiful ancient lakes and the fisheries and wildlife ..ecogical vandals putting a natural life force to death as occurred there so hooved maggots could graze is the absolute site and justification of the founding of Green Party politics in Ireland..there should be a sign on every shoreline of those lakes "Area of Special Ecological Vandalism" and the perpetrators sent to prison for life..thanks for this footage , it's difficult to watch bit at least somebody has brought it to the world.
