Simple Float Fishing Setup Rig | Traditional Fishing
Float fishing using telescopic fishing rod without ring guides, also known as tao tao or Tenkara rod.
6 pcs nano float
Mono line, you can use any type of fishing line available like fly fishing line and braided line.
Size 10 hook, you can use smaller hook.
1pc bobber stopper
Line length - same as rod length when expanded.

I disassembled this reel 2 years ago but i failed to teardown the pinion part. And then I saw a video from this channel, @NLoutside75 different model but same construction of this reel, Daiwa Goldcast. So I decided to disassemble it again and clean the parts inside to maintain the reel, I will use this whenever I like, and this is for keeps.

You can also spool on some mono first and tie a double uni knot to your braid. Fixes the slipping issue and saves you money on braid because you don’t need a whole spool filled with it. 🎣😉🤙🏽
I bought 300 yards braid and fits exactly on my spool, if I put 20 yards mono backing, there'll be an excess braid that I need to cut, same thing, waste of money.

@@ADVidz2622 Depends on the reel ya know sometimes you need a lot sometimes you can split that 300 yard spool in half and use it for 2 reels. And haha nice thanks think we actually have more fishing videos than camping ❤️🎣🤙🏽

Depende po, meron kasing naka fix na yung sa may handle, pero kapag may nakita kayong screw pwede po yan.

Drag cap is connected to main shaft, it's either loose thread or main shaft is loose inside the body.

Problema sa cast x 1 at 2 yung tension bearing knob. Malaki yung gap ng butas pag pindot ng spool release kaya pag nag cast ka napapasukan ng vapor ng tubig yung tension bearing. Overtime kinakalawang gang sa di mo na mapindot spool release dala ng di na makapasok pinion gear sa kinalawang na tension bearing knob

@@ADVidz2622 freshwater angler po ako sir madalang po ako sa salt water. Ultimo lure hooks ko kinakalawang pag di ko nahugasan after use
@@rolandsala7477 yun ang di ko pa alam sir pero as long as metal yung bearing niya sa pinion gear tatamaan talaga ng kalawang dala ng napapasok ng tubig
Está mal porque el nudo debe quedar en el centro de la bobina y el devanador debe estar en el centro para iniciar a enrollar

sir Do you know how to remove the rotor off a daiwa goldcast 308RL. The rotor nut don't have any slots and it's round. Parts diagram shows the nut and rotor as 1 complete unit. Thanks

Sir pag mag papalit ako ng gomexus handle at stat drag anong type yung pipilliin ko kung pang shimano ba or pang daiwa sana ma sagot thank you!
Nagtingin ako sa gomexus store ng star drag, pareho ng daiwa sa ibabaw pero yung ilalim e magkaiba, hindi rin sya fit. Sa handle naman, ang sukat ng butas sa gitna ay 8mm x 5mm.

This knot is called Red Phillips knot, combination of overhand knot and uni knot. Proven strong and easy to perform.
