That being said, we’ve never had them tell us we couldn’t get two a piece when asking nicely!! (There’s too many good items at the specialty restaurants) I would be surprised if they tell you no!

I do love the main dining room and never ever thought I’d do the paid dining experiences but I do agree, there is just something extra special about the level of service and quality you get at the steakhouse! After our first visit, we’ve never regretted it!

I'm irritated that we're pushed into paid dining by food quality dropping in the MDR, but facts are facts and I am not on vacation to eat bad food ;) On the Excel class ships though, you have so much choice, with several even being included, it's hard to get to everything, let alone the dining room and for SURE not wasting a dinner on the buffet. Sis and I did two weeks (a B2B) on the Celebration and never ate in the MDR once. Thanks for your video! I don't go again until January and I'm already dreaming.

The spa does have men and women locker rooms but honestly we didn’t feel the need to use them. We felt safe leaving our belongings at the loungers. Just a tip we upgraded to the spa balcony which included unlimited spa access.

It’s definitely worth the trip! We love this place!!

@@justuniversalthings13 Loved hanging at the deck 8 Patio Pool (way more our speed), had great meals at ChiBang, Emeril's (shrimp po boy and beignets!), Cucina del Capitano, also loved listening to jazz while hanging at the Brass Magnolia bar, taking lots of pictures all over the ship, watching movies, going to shows, trivia, Family Feud, we just couldn't do everything in one trip! We want to see Carnival's new island whenever it opens, it sounds crazy!

No it’s a chlorine pool. It’s really refreshing though. Relaxing in there was one of my favorite parts of the spa.

@kevinandersonjrtv4405 that’s so tough, it’s kind of like the perfect storm where everything adds its own part!! I do have to say the performers do bring such great energy and never disappoint! But getting a great spot to catch beads is so much fun, makes you feel like a kid again! Then the food, that Kaespaetzel (sp?) in the German area was soooo delicious!

Hello! The food was not included, just the beach access. The restaurant that was located at the beach was pretty affordable from what we can remember!

You guys are going to absolutely love it!! Yes we did the drink and wifi package both times we sailed the Mardi Gras! There are soooo many fun and unique drink options throughout the ship where we couldn’t resist! It was worth it for us for fortune teller and brass magnolia alone!

We didn’t have any issues finding the pick up location, Victor Bodden sends our extremely detailed notes of what to expect, where to meet him, etc. I’m a big worrier, I was the same way, but no need, it was very easy to get there! The only thing I would say is to allow some extra time to walk there due to the small hill you walk over to get there. Once over the hill, you’ll see a bunch of tour companies with signs, Victor Bodden does a great job being up front, and if you don’t see their sign, if you ask anyone out there, they’ll point you to where they are! They were all super friendly and helpful!

We know for sure you have to have a spa room or get the spa pass for the steam rooms, pool, fancy showers and ergonomic heated chairs. The only thing that was complimentary was the coed sauna located outside the men’s locker room. The sauna is small, holds around 5-7 people max from what I can remember. If you are spa people, I would recommend the day pass (which I believe you can get half off past a certain time of day) or getting a spa room! There are two locker rooms which have restrooms and showers, but I know those are intended mainly for cruisers who are getting treatments or using the spa facilities.

It’s beer ingredients like hops and other ingredients that haven’t been brewed into beer yet. It’s an amazing experience and we definitely recommend it.

We loved Cozumel as well and Mahogany Bay was our favorite because of the Victor Boden Tours excursion. I’m so glad that our food reviews helped you! @@Controversialcruising We honestly loved it, its a very different vibe, we loved the chill, fun and jazzy atmosphere throughout! We also loved the additional dining options outside of MDR. We have sailed her twice so far and wouldn't be surprised if we sail again!!

Thank you so much!! The Mardi Gras is an incredible ship! The Jubilee is definitely on our list as well. We cruise as much as we can. We will actually be on the Ruby Princess in February next year doing a Panama Canal cruise. We are stoked!

Yes that’s correct! They pick you up right there outside of the port, take you to their location, you do the sloth/monkey/zip experience then they’ll take you to the beach for an hour or two depending on how early you started, they’ll pick you back up and take you back to the cruise terminal all for $65. We just took extra tip money for driver, zip instructors and the monkey/sloth guides who were all so awesome! I know they do have other your combos on their website too!

@@gentlejules7255 it was a regular group tour, but they keep the groups small. It was just us and another family of three who joined us on the zip and animals portion. I do believe they offer private tours as well, but we honestly had so much fun with our group!!
