property card of a plot used for commercial office shows collector rent roll no as a fourr-digits valuee and holders as 6 brother partners of that commercial firm from 1977. By oct 2017, 4 out of those 6 brothers had ceased to exist, Still in 2024, property card shows names of the 6 as holders of that plot, even their names are stated in assessee names for property taxation by mcgm. Does collector rent roll no imply land whose lessor is collector? Is the lease dead valid even after death of 4 out the 6 original lessees? Each of the 6 brothers have class-I heirs who in turn have their own class-I heirs yet names of those class-I heirs are not mutated in property card as well as in names of propert tax assessee names even now. Is their no penalty for not mutating the records after original lessess have died?

I think all these points can be challenged in court It is unreasonable to have same conditions for 100 years Also it has nothing to do with the land as building as put up by society and society legally can give flats over which Collector has no rights only courts can give relief as govt can only collect and no one will take such bold steps
