Hello I am from America so I was wanting to ask what would be the main requirements for me. I’m about to finish high school and go into trade school. I am considering about getting into plumbing, so would what would I need required in order to move to Australia as a plumber after I finish trade school in America the plumbing program at the trade school I am wanting to apply for is a 12 month course once I pass the 12 month course I will receive a diploma and certificate in pipe fitting and plumbing technology.

Hi mate, thanks for the video it’s very informative. I have a level 2 city and Guilds qualification with 13 years of both commercial and domestic plumbing experience. Would this be enough to work as a self employed plumber over in aus. Obviously if I proved my skill set etc first before emigrating?

Hi mate... I am already an Australian Citizen with educational background in Mechanical Engineering. Due to having an International education which is not recognize in Australia I applied for a Trade Assistant in one of the biggest mining of iron here in WA. One of my job is helping the heavy diesel fitters on the job with heavy mobile equipment. I would say I am gaining experience and learning the trade. Will i be eligible to apply for an RPL in future to be recognize as a fitter?
