hey marissa! thanks for the review - do you think a 13” laptop would fit vertically or horizontally into the bag with the flaps open? i generally hold my laptop separately, but want to get a bag that i can temporarily put my laptop in if im not holding it directly, TIA!
Hi! The opening across is 12" wide, so maybe if your laptop is less wide than that? it's kind of a trapezoid shape so the opening isn't as wide as the base for a laptop to fit well

do you think it can fit an ipad 11 inches? and if yes does it fit comfortably or does it not close fully?
An 11" iPad will not fit inside unfortunately. For an iPad, I'd recommend the Linnea tote (I have another video for that bag, see link in the description)

I love my Chrystie bag too! Got the Paloma for work but I don't like that the straps are not as long like Chrystie.
Right? I had the same problem with the Tall tote. Handle drop lengths make such a big difference!

Hi! My laptop size is 12.5” in length and 15” diagonally and it fits with a bit of wiggle room on either side as shown in the vid :) I don't think a 13.5" laptop (length, not diagonal) will fit, but it will definitely fit inside the Paloma or Lafayette totes.

Hey Marissa! Thanks so much for doing this review, really appreciate it! I've noticed you posted this video 9 months ago, and was wondering if you could share how the leather feels now? My only concern about this purchase is that it's not real leather, and I'd want to buy something durable. I think someone had already mentioned this but it was way back. Thanks so much!
Hi Mika! It's been 9 months and the only major wear is creasing on the handles where the handles are attached to the body of the bag. As you bend the handles backwards, it creates the creases but it's honestly not too bad even after all this time :) The faux leather has held up great despite getting totally soaked in rain, and I've wiped pen marks off the exterior without issue. I actually have really loved the faux leather because it is SOOO much lighter than genuine leather. When you have a laptop and lots of things, the weight has made a huge difference.

Hi Marissa! Thank you for the detailed review, I currently have the tall tote and now eyeing the Linnea! 😅 Just thought I’d share that the tall tote is great for carrying light items but the straps are wide, stiff and thick so I don’t really find it comfortable for long commutes with heavier items. I also don’t particularly like that there are no interior pockets too, super hard to find anything esp. if you have loose items. The exterior pocket is flat and hard to squeeze my phone into - I avoid doing this because it’ll stick out quite a bit. It fits my keys and a lip balm at most. Hope this helps! ❤

I've had my eye on this bag for awhile and this review convinced me I need to just buy it. I have the Lafayette Tote but sometimes feel it's too large for certain situations. I do have 2 questions, though. 1) You mentioned you travel with it - have you ever had any issues with it fitting under an airplane seat? I know the website says it fits under most, but I've also bought bags in the past that said they'd fit under the seat and didn't. 2) I saw in another comment that you bought a second Linnea - what color is your second one? I'm going back and forth between a couple of the colors and may end up with more than one in the future.
Hi! I also have the Lafayette and Agee it’s too big for me. 1. It fits under airplane seats well! There might have one or two small planes I’ve been on where I had to smush it down ever so slightly to fit, but it always fits. 2. I purchased my Linnea in Taupe and Black! They both look gorgeous and expensive, and I end up wearing both of them equally :)

Thank you for the review. I've also been hunting for a while as I also find a lot of the normal tote's not really practical. I do need to stuff a bit more in it. Headphones, pc stand etc but I think I'll get it to fit. Thank you for including the pc measurement as indeed not everybody has a macbook.

Hi thanks for this review! I’ve been looking for a bag with the exact functionality. My only concern is that it’s vegan leather and if it’s durable. How long have you used it?
Hi! I’ve used it for a few weeks and I really put it to the test because I don’t believe in babying my bags. I totally get your concern and looked into the durability of their faux leather before making my purchase to make sure the price was justified. The material Freja uses is a unique one that is graded to last 10 years compared to the typical PU leather used that only lasts 2. So far, the only wear I’ve seen is some light creasing from when the handles open “outward” :)
@@marissa_h Thanks for your insights! Honestly, I cannot find an alternative bag that checks all my boxes.. plus its so well crafted. I hope I can get a couple years of use for which the price point is totally justified. I think I am going to buy it :)
