Hey bro just found your channel I got a presa I got him from kijiji add didn't know shit about him. He's a good dog for the most part but soon as i bust out a leash he goes crazy I try and settle him down don't work he blows out the door before me I can't stop it. I've owned pittbulls dobermans Rottweilers gsd bulldogs am staffs. I've trained them all no problems but I can yet this guy to focus on me and chill any tips I'd be glad to send video to a email. I've used the prong collar just like you show and it don't even faze him

Thank you, this was really insightful and helpful. I have just adopted a 5/6 year old male, neutered full Presa. I have no experience with this breed. Although I am a confident dog owner, all my experience comes from small breeds. Any tips for training/disobedience on an older Presa and strengthening the bond?

most people in the UK want prong collars to be banned. I think they're being ridiculous. for the most part I believe whether or not a tool is bad depends on how the dog feels. my lab wouldn't accept a front clip harness or head collar, but took to the prong collar almost instantly. some dogs can't stand prong collars and will run away from them, I don't think they should be forced to wear one in that case. HOWEVER, if someone ends up with a huge dog they can't control and it becomes a potential risk to the general public, then sometimes forcing them to wear a prong collar is actually the best option in the interest of public safety. plus they could give the dog loads of treats etc when put on & hopefully after a while the dog will accept it. also, I totally agree it's a matter of using it correctly, keeping it high up and tight enough, not suddenly yanking it hard etc people who think they're just abusive regardless of how they're used baffle me. I used to think they were bad, now I know it'd a case of using it correctly only using on a dog that's OK with it, with the exception of when it's a last resort to prevent the dog being a liability

I bought a Presa when he was 8 weeks old now 7 months 90 lbs im retired ive trained him from day one he tests me everyday when u correct him he acts like Eeyore the donkey ive had better luck with rottweilers i wouldn't recommend Presa hes my first and last

Do you breed them Bandogges or even just Presa's?. Here in the U.S. they like them oversized which I don't agree with, but when I seen your female Presa last night on your channel. I fell in love with her build same with the other brindle Y'all met up with in the park and Bison. What is the life expectancy average of the Bandogge and cost?.

People like that shouldn’t have a press Canaria. He/she’s is afraid and the dog know it. They need a lil beagle and go on ablut their life. I hate when folks don’t know how to raise animals and choose to. Just messing up good breeds!

I have rescued a dog which we are unsure of the breed, believe he might be Cane Corsa, great Dane mix. He is brilliant in the house but we are struggling badly when he's out, no recall, very protective of me and I'm currently just getting over an opperation for a shattered elbow where he took me down. we believe he is about 4 years old going from the vets advice. Don't want to loose him but any advice would be great. He has the same markings as your girl but lighter

This dude is freaken awesome. I'm picking up a 1.5 month old presa. The breeder did some basic training with him. Before attempting to put him in my vehicle and taking him home. I plan to take him for a long walk before taking him home and going over the command taught to him. I believe you have to work with any dog like this before taking it home to set some ground rules...

My first dog was a big German boxer. Man she was smart . We had eachothers hearts since day 1 .my next one( I'm looking ) is a presa canario . I've done my research. But is their any owners out their. That could give me their biggest tip. I'm obsessed with these dog and don't take them lightly at all.. I've learned with my past dog to be top dog yet reaffirming more than punishing for lack of better wording .strong leader yet happy to reinforce good behavior . I feel videos only say so much. So I'd appreciate any time you take out of your day to explain some first hand advice .thanks

Someone told me that your not supposed to mix raw meet with kibble..I was too either you feed a raw meat diet or a kibble diet..

My presa has been a breeze to train. Dog is brought everywhere and she is not on guard. My American bully is is very similar. Great family dogs imo
