I really like the video and your description of Kai and Ray's relationship and personalities. I agree that they are among the most (if not even THE most) complex characters in the series. They are my favorite characters and I think it's interesting to watch them grow from one season to another (I also like to put some thought into everything and analyse characters, stories)

Although they are undeniably rivals, I think that secretly they can be lovers. It can be easily guessed from the G-Revolution saga that Kappa, Max, Hilary and Ray always think that Takao would be in a better mood if there was Kai. Or even they try not to remind Takao that Kai betrayed them. Or even during the tournament, the two of them live that truly inexplicable ultra-earthly experience. Then I understand that it is a series dedicated to an audience of young people, so they can not formalize this couple but I think it's real. Tyka exists for real. Great beautiful video!
