Thank you! And, you are correct. I did not honestly realize at the time, when I decided on the year of 1990 as the setting for this video. You make a good point. I'd just move the year up to 1993, in the video if I could, but I'll change it in the description.

I've been trying for some time to find a c40-8 worthy of restoring. It's been easier said than done.

@4everdc302 Definitely the late 60s, yup. My concept for this video was (in legend) before the creation of Conrail, the Reading and Ephrata Valley would have shared power....much like later on with Conrail (there has been a video or 2 in the past featuring EV and Conrail power working together.) 💪

Good question. I still have this duo of C&NW GP20s....I do know that the Tyco C&NW GP20s are from the Red Box Era (1960s, Made in USA,) and the C&NW roadname is pretty rare. I'd put it on the same level as the elusive Tyco red & silver Illinois Central GP20.

I used old Tyco, Atlas, Bachmann, and more brass track....the track was actually the only thing on the layout that wasn't 100% Tyco.

I'm not sure if an unboxing video featured those....however the Doodlebug I know little about, as it was from a custom kit previously assembled but never finished, that I bought at a train show a few years ago. The Tyco Plymouth MDT switcher was custom painted by Aaron a few years ago, and features an MU-2 style can motor. I'm not too familiar with AHM 4 wheel switchers, but if you're having a specific problem, I might be able to help.

My "intro" theme is actually my handiwork (recorded myself playing my electric guitar), while the video soundtrack is America the Beautiful, from an artist on SoundCloud which I credited in my description.

The musical notes from the electric guitar's sound match perfectly and emulate the diesel engines and rolling stock grind and motion on the track. I hear and feel the train's sound and weight with a feel of moving effortlessly. Near the end of the video, your musical composition syncs perfectly with the visual close-up edits I see as "sound designed," as you see in the movies. @@mdeange3 I agree, that specific America the Beautiful soundtrack sounded awesome, which I why I selected it. Thank You, truly, for your compliments on my intro theme and video editing! I really appreciate the encouragement; I've enjoyed video editing since my early teens and primarily use MovieMaker. And, actually, I developed my intro theme music on my electric guitar (Epiphone Les Paul) first, with basic knowledge as I only started teaching myself to play last August. Once I was satisfied with it, I recorded my new intro theme from my amp, and then listened to it over and over, until I planned and filmed each scene to match the music like I wanted. All that was left was to edit. God Bless you as well! And once again, thank you for your encouragement.

@mdeange3 The Conrail Bicentennital #4800 GG1 model is a AHM/Rivarossi model, while the Ephrata Valley RR GG1 features a custom paint job for my fictional railroad done by my buddy Aaron, and is also an AHM/Rivarossi locomotive. The Tyco Spirit of '76 locomotives would have been first released by Tyco in 1976 for the USA Bicentennial - they were in production for a few years after that also, so mid to late 70s I would say. Both Tyco Spirit of '76 locomotives still run well.
