Being an Australian, I do not know what the highest honour that can be bestowed on a non military American is, but Gary Sinise should have that honour given to him. A great American and from Australia I salute Gary and the Lieutenant Dan Band and the Gary Sínese Foundation.

My late Father served 22 years with the British Military before retiring, we got posted all over, including living in N.Ireland during the Troubles. So as well as thanking the soldiers for their service, I thank their families back home who love and support them.

Even though I myself didn’t serve my dad did and unfortunately became my abuser. Gary has given me help and hope without ever meeting me or knowing me with learning the importance and need to forgive and heal from the damage from war. He showed me I could recover and be a man of integrity and honor.

We need so many more in Hollywood like Mr. Sinise. Doesn't matter if he's a republican or a democrat he walks the walk and is the real deal....unlike most of his ilk who spend all day lobbing propaganda bombs on twitter from the safety of their keyboard. You are a hero Gary.

Thanks Gary for what you do to help our injured veterans. These guys have to fight twice once for our country and then fight again to overcome there injuries from battle. Our wounded veterans are super hero’s. Our country needs to do more to recognize their service and dedication. At the same time I want to give a shout out to Gary Sinise for his dedication to our military folks. He is a true patriot and deserves great respect and honor.

What I don’t understand is how he supports Donald Trump. Trump calls people in the military Losers and suckers.
