Thank you so much for posting this video man, helped me find and fix my problem on coolant leak!
Many thanks!
mate, good video. I wanted to ask you a favor, if you could send me some photos of the thin red and green vacuum lines, I THINK YOUR CAR HAS THEM IN RED AND BLACK, IT APPEARS, which come out of the intake manifold. My truck has them disconnected and I would like you to help me with some photos so I know where they go. I also need to check where another thin vacuum hose goes that passes behind the IAC valve, I THINK THAT THAT HOSE COMES FROM THE AIR INLET AND PASSES THROUGH A TE-SHAPED DIVISION, AND PASSES BEHIND THE IAC VALVE. I would appreciate it very much if you could support me. I could send you my WhatsApp number so you can send the photos. Thank you very much in advance.
Thanks for the video. Hopefully I can do this! I’m not mechanical AT ALL, but my daily commuter is down and this morning it was 29 degrees. I went to warm up the truck only to find out that the heater doesn’t work. Thanks for the video!
If you plate both sides how are you gonna replace axles or remove c clips
Dude that's super helpful. Thank you for the video
What’s done to the rear
sheesh, not talking about this video - everyone has their own infomercial it seems these days. Everybody trying to hustle some sort of scam - just referring to the commercials on youtube. Even us commoners can now try to hustle the masses. Thank you for this video - needed this! Blessings!
Awesome video thank you
What’s the top speed of that 2.3l?
@@zackbutler6057 100-120 downhill 😂
@@daniel.booth218 will it run 75 down the hwy though?
@@zackbutler6057 yesir
What lowering kit did you use???
Nice vid. Nuts deep on a 93 ranger timing belt
@@willied5940 hope i could help!
@@daniel.booth218😊VA Country, female here, I have a 95 3l and I think it's a chain. I have to pull everything out to do a water pump and rad. But, now I'm like why can't I do a chain? My issue .some dyers don't talk about if it's needs to be top dead or where to start but it looks reasonable to just do. It's Just Time. It pees me off that I'm willing but elder males in my life have zero ideas or i'll have to pay 1200 to a shop. Smh. I can get to that chain area and that's just a gut punch to be stopped due to lack of knowledge
mines is a 96 xlt single its green to its in great condition a bought it for 2k
Amazing video!!
Trying to be like you one day!
Pretty sure mine just started leaking from that nipple on my 94 ranger. So if I just loop those lines it won't leak anymore? Till I can replace my heater core
@@jgasparrr69 correct i had mine looped previously to prevent it from leaking aswell
@@daniel.booth218hell yeah thanks for responding brotha! Great detailed video too
Thanks for the vid! Tightening the 13mm tensioner bolt should happen after you rotate the crank 2 rotations.
Personally after seeing how much work is involved with this I feel a lot better about paying the shop the $800 to do all this work to replace my timing belt last week and I'm surprised they didn't charge a bit more. This is an awful lot of work involved.
@@Sabrinahuskydog 4-5 hours of work doing it myself is worth 800$ to me all day haha
@@daniel.booth218 You may be able to do it but serious invasive work like this is not something everyone is physically able to do. It's nice that you made this video and I found it because I was curious just how much work is involved with this and what all the shop had to do but I can't physically do this much work even though I want to. I have no choice but to pay someone else to do it, sadly. I own a 1994 Ranger XLT by the way. I love mine. <3
15 and 18s are your friends
Stock angle?
Dont know if anyone will see this but im pretty sure my timeing skiped a tooth, would i need to take the harmonic balancer off just to adjust the belt? honestly dont see why it would be a problem but would love to hear opinions from other if yall think it would be fine or not. Same year truck only difference is its a mazda b2300 but basically the exact same thing with same motor and all, also timeing belt only has about 20k miles on it and looks good so dont really feel the need to replace it
I would take the balancer off
Always like to see people improving the situations
Man I put in some nice bucket sport seats from a Ford sports car power everything. Perfect not a flaw from the junkyard 40 bucks
Mazda 😍😍
I'm looking at picking up an older small truck like a Ranger, Tacoma/Toyota, Datsun 620 or something. Already got me a 2011 F250 gas all paid off, and it's been extremely reliable since I bought it in 2015 used. Keeping it stock, basic, and reliable as my work horse. Now kinda looking for something smaller, easier on fuel, nimble, fun to drive. Small truck with a little turbo four banger and a stick should be fun. I just don't see myself driving a sports car lol. Even though I like em, I'm a truck guy. Anymore the Datsun seems like a interesting choice, like a late 70's. I like the look of them, they're small, and the price on them isn't too bad for being a classic. Maybe not as desired as some of the cars.
Unblock to tube from the airfilter too the throttle body it amazing how the 2.3 will wake up as well fuel milage also as its blocked off and you take the hose loose and look its easy to see as in removin too
I have a 94 ford ranger splash and I'm Triana located that last bolt could you help me find it
Where you get that bed cover
it was custom made for him
hey man quick question… how does it ride with out a c notch cut in the frame? is it needed or no?
@@drewsgarage1007 definitely a little rough lol. If you stick with a 3/5 drop it’s not bad but once you add block in the rear on top of the leaf spring flip and go 5/7 like i did it’s only about an inch or two away from the frame sitting still
@@daniel.booth218 is it daily able? with no c notch and welded diff
@@drewsgarage1007 i did it for months but if you enjoy or care about ride quality then no. But i would rather it look cool than ride good haha so yes doable but just not practical
@@daniel.booth218 my first car was on washers i should fine lol😭😭 thank you so much man 🙏🏽
I like the hardbody...cool truck
how did you lower the back
Love me a nice little hardbody. I didn't realize those single cam KA's came carbureted in '94. Is it just me, or do your belts look flipped inside out? I've never seen one of those types of belts running with the blocks/teeth outward
can't believe its that easy!
Hell yea! I have a 92 b2200 with a blown stock engine and want to do something like this.
Its e46 not e36😊
very easy to understand this video I have he same truck and engine just watched for future if I need to replace my belt in the future give 10 stars to this guy for the information!!!! mike i
Nice job. Thanks for the video
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What does welding in the gears do ?
spins both wheels with the same power
Without welding the diff only one wheel will spin but welding the diff makes both wheels spin 😄😊
Well done, thanks for the very helpful video!
One of the most well done videos I have seen on RUclips. The timing belt on my Ranger broke and I am going to replace it this weekend. Your video is a huge help. Thanks!!!
Glad i could be of help!
Yeah buddy,iv got a 95 I'm excited to start on soon..I hope to see more on this truck 🍻
Is it the 2.3 or 4.0
The drain on the cover is for the a.c. condensation.
2.3 doesn't have ac an option.
@@dongriffith2662 mine has ac.
So bad ass😂 lookin like I’m about to do the same to my 88’
Exactly why I'm here bro, for my 88. Have you done anything yet
excelente trabajo saludos

Nice. Thanks for the video. Gorilla glue is garbage. It's always worth the extra dough for Permatex.
@daniel Booth what brand leaf springs are they?
What seats are those?
