That base player with this band can really rock! What a groove!
David bronstein the goat fr
I'm intrigued
This looks like the type of low budget film I would really enjoy.
Can't wait to see this
what a fun
All these years later, growing up and loving FM and Nash back when I was a teen and this song evokes tears...amazing performer..damn.
So good
Such a 80's Toronto song
This was musically brutal although I showed Nash how the song gies just prior to him getting on stage with us he just went up there and made some bad noises thats why I had to keep the viloin down in the mix half the time he was playing out of key. Great visual though. Nash always looked great on stage with his mummy thing going on.
the invisible man- not a mummy lol
@@mdent23 Naw when I worked with Nash and he pissed me off I would call him the MUMMY
Talentless rubbish, OMG did folk pay to see this idiot
Unique, and a fine musician and artist. I always went to his gigs when I could and he invariably put on a fantastic show.
Nash was a very talented musician and such a strange man lol
Nash the Slash... there was a time when that bandaged mf ruled! THAT is musicianship in a quirky, purely Canadian way! They don't com back from Deadman's Curve!
13yrs ago. Love it sir👏🏻👏🏻
I saw Nash at the Edge and Horseshoe long before he wore the bandages. He even let me go backstage one night because I was wearing a cap that i had made at the Ex with "Nash the Slash" on it. He was a really nice guy!
I saw FM only once... they were an opening act for Jethro Tull in San Francisco, CA... Great band! never saw Nash solo live... big regret.
Great ol days , Not much left for Pub bands any more seen both many many times, TY 4 Post
I think this was around 2011
Anyone know if there is a soundboard recording of this?
i was his sound/stage tech- i didnt record off the board- just this - sorry
@@mdent23 That's unfortunate - but thanks! I am a big Goddo and Nash fan - this is a real treasure!
Shivers all over
Still fantastic
He was Brilliant!
Brilliant. Nash never, ever got his due because he different
He and ELO made playing threviolin cool which opened ip possiblities for a chubby teen lime me . I only saw him once at the Coronet Motor hotel in Kitchener.
Kewl
I attended many FM performances in Toronto bars and other small venues in the the early 1980s. Cameron Hawkins, Martin Diller and Nash The Slash "James Jeffrey "Jeff" Plewman, rocked my life! And, still Rock my life several decades later. Hold Fast, Hold On.
He should go back to guns n roses. Everything on appetite for destruction was better than this
strange but so awesome
thank you
dont talk about the girl
going to see them tonite and normans opening
Just need to come back occasionally, for my own peace of mind.
poor handy sound but Nash was the Slash !! my great violin brother influence for my own Violin Garagerock Band Art
I saw Nash the Slash at my old college back in 1986 with a band called FM. He got locked off stage and he asked me to get back in. I led him through another entrance and he was grateful. Just a memory when I herd the name.
Shit. First time I’ve seen this in over a decade. I never realized how dark it was. Also… shorten the bridge. Lol
creepy mask thing going, but great music.
fm and nash the slash at dutch mill inn in trenton ont....incredible bar band...place packed to the rafters...BLACK NOISE....
Mickey.......Susan and I still remember you from Paula's Flamenco Studio on Front St.
Thats why they hooked up ! So much talent ,good sound at time ,I was there!
Any news on the movie ,,Hi to leslie too
no news- sorry - whos leslie ?
@@mdent23 Leslie korvorst
such a beautiful track
Not forgotten.
RIP I love you!
these guys are awesome
Saw Nash open the world music festival at CNE way back in 1979. He was awesome RIP NASH THE SLASH!!
i was his tech
@@mdent23 He picked a great tech! Thanks for the memories.
that was opening for the who
Who is singing?
donna kerbel
@@mdent23 great voice, love the song and the band too!
my condolences art
Now you know where "The Edge" of U2 copped his sound from! (<:
It’s just delay. Anyone can do it if they want. “The Edge” did not invent it.
@@thetruthexperiment I never said any such thing, and I know, because I was doing nearly the very same thing at least a decade before I ever heard U2! Did you see the smiley face at the end of my comment? It's an indicator I was just being facetious, so Whoooooooooooosh, right over your head.
Where can I buy this song?
Why does Numan stand at that daft keyboard just twiddling knobs? As you know he aint playing nothing
OP's replies on Peep's comments is totally spoiling the vibe of this comment section :P
Avant-garde and a great showman at the same time. I will never forget the night I saw him at the 'Moon in Halifax in 1980 something.
nash and i were in the uk 80/81- i worked w/nash from 79 till 84 abouts- we never played halifax
@@mdent23 Maybe 1986
