That was on pump. I believe I just had an intake, vf39 and full exhaust. I’ve changed so much since then. I ran a 12.5 in the 1/4 on that setup as well.

@@Gambit8six damn that’s impressive I just daily mine and was having some fun last weekend and I was like this thing needs vf39 and some sti blue injectors so I ordered them and was curious how much better it’d do. I ran few cars you can see on my RUclips but my problem was I got out of the hole like no other but stock turbo is dead after 2nd gear

@@thatredss6999 it’s a noticeable difference and will keep pulling for longer. Are you on a 2.0 or 2.5 block?

@@Gambit8six 2.0 motor has upgraded head gasket, cylinder 4 cooler mod, air/oil serperator. few mods that may help it live. i got a identical parts car that runs and drives bad title so not suppper worried but i wanna be around 300-315 awhp so itll have a lil more top end in the 1/8

Oh man I haven’t driven the truck since it caught fire. I had all 4 separate from the wheels though. I think the glue they use is really thin and you need some thicker stuff

How did you fit 27t without having issues with motor mount screw that goes in from bottom of chassis? Mines fits also but I have to leave screw off cause if I screw it the mesh is super tight?

Temps were good till it caught fire. I have to send it in to castle for warranty. Go into the settings and set the motor timing to zero. Don’t run any advance. It comes with 10 degrees. Sounds like a good servo, waterproof isn’t a big deal unless you submerge it.

Go into the settings and bump up the punch level. My friends outcast had that happen. Felt like it was cogging. So I did that and it hasn’t done it since.

@@Gambit8six tried that it thought that was the problem at first I changed it to punch 4 and increased the brake then this started so I changed it all back and nothing changed

Hmm. Have you done a reset or recalibration?

@@Gambit8six yeah done everything like that recalibrated the controller as well nothing helped being brand new didn’t expect any problems I sent the esc back to the hobby shop I brought it from as they think the esc is the issue

Dang. Well hopefully it comes back quick. My xlx2 caught fire so I have to send that in as well. Could be a while though lol.

For me having adjustability in not just the trigger and wheel resistance as well as placement. But being able to tune the steering rate and endpoints , expo, throttle curve. It is very worth it to me. Another point is how many models you can run off the one remote. Telemetry is also a nice feature. Not that lesser remotes don’t have these features but I like having the big screen for telemetry. And if you have the money just buy what you want in the first place.

Yeah I just trimmed across until it was wide enough. I marked it where it needed to be cut and then filled the cut areas with silicone.

The steering is pretty good. I do have the better servo as well as a set of belted tires on it. Both of those make a big difference. I haven’t had any issues with the steering links. But I mean anything will break if you land it wrong hard enough. I send that truck harder than most I would say and have minimal breakage.

Yeah I still run the 30. I’m also at 10 degrees timing on the 1100. I do plan to get a 38 tooth pinion just for crazy ramp hits though lol. That way I can hit that ramp at 70 plus.
