OMHG, after watching the entire season of Macross Season 1 including Do You Remember Love?, I absolutely love and enjoy the storyline and characters so much, it was absolutely awesome to watch!!! And I also love seeing the blu-ray music clips of the series in this nice high quality too- OMHG, it looks so amazing and so incredible!!!! If they make another reboot of the Macross Season 1 series, I want them to do it like that too, I just love how it looks!!!!!

I don't see the point in having this on pachinko. You will miss half the scenes since you need to focus on those damn balls.
I'm a big fan of both Robotech and Macross having watched both the incarnations as well as all the Macross sequels and I still don't get the Macross opening song. It is just bad and completely out of step with the what the show is about. I even looked up the translation and it still feels wrong. The Robotech opening by contrast is right on target.

I feel like I'm the only one out there who is completely underwhelmed by these remakes. The cell shaded cg just looks so out of place with the hand drawn animation. Same for a whole bunch of the computer effects being applied to make the animation look fancy. None of it gels for me. They feel like multiple layers being manipulated independently of each other instead of a cohesive whole. Super don't dig the character redesigns to fall in line with modern anime stylings. Especially the elf ears.
