Got boreals at my house
Mossy Earth has a YT video on beavers and corroborates the results of this project
America, finally getting a brain...
I recently viewed your RUclips videos and was impressed by the high quality of your content. However, I noticed that they are not optimized for SEO, which may be affecting your views and subscribers. I can help you identify and fix these issues to reach your audience more effectively. Let's work together to take your channel to the next level!
Awesome. I can imagine them saying ok we need 4 feet of water at least 😂
No updates I keep looking back at the story when it pops up bullshit no updates
Could beavers restore the Great Salt Lake? Colorado River?
A very different way to release them vs. the way the Brits do in Cornwall.
From what I see, the beavers will be unlikely to settle in such an ill prepared sight. Hope I'm mistaken.
You're not?
They're absolutely adorable but I'm concerned about the lack of an update. They seem extremely vulnerable to prey and it would be heartbreaking if this project failed
Sadly, a lot of humans don't see the real problem in wilderness loss. It's the humans that are impacting habitat negatively. The people seem to think that if we can buy the land, we ought to be able to do as we please on the land. It's a human first mentality that views other species as either pests or harvestable resources. How about we look a the world as an important system to preserve in fact to protect from Humans?
the film was made two years ago what has happened since then?
I grew up a long, long time ago in the Midwest. I remember dragging my canoe over over quite a few beaver dams. They have quite an "aroma!" 😉 Sadly they were all lost to urban sprawl. Very nice to see you kids doing something about it. Great job!
Oh boy the beavers have lots of work to do. GOD Bless them and all you good folks❤
Coulda put them closer to the water. Beavers are almost blind
Here we are a year later?
Its really weird these beavers seem so comfortable around people...
Three hundred million estimated pre Euro settling. We wiped them out to single digit percentile. I am sure it is half our issues in North america.
there was no degraded western streams. let the damn beavers go. u guys are still doing work before releasing them. maybe do that beforehand?
Any update on the area? Would love to see what the beavers did.
"Who can't love someone with orange teeth?" Maybe I'll give DATING another try ??????????
I love what you are doing here. Beavers are sooooo important!
Curios to know, what look like the area after the beaver release on the area...
who are these cruel woke snowflakes that imprisoned the beavers in the first place?
Where’s the follow-up video on “Beaver Release to Heal Degraded Western Streams” from a year ago? Did the beavers do good? Or did coyotes get them? How far are they on their canaling projects? Are ducks back? You advocate for wildlife so please advocate for viewers, too.
Fantastic. Thank you. But why are humans doing so much preliminary work? What if you loose the beavers and they say “What idiot did this?! This is a wreck.” And scoot around redoing everything the humans did. Did these do so? Like eagles for whom humans have made a rudimentary nest-they just rearrange everything, drop sticks on the ground, get new ones. Nature knows nature. We’re the idiots.
@alainaaugust1932 Isn't that what YOU do when you move into a new home or apartment? Come on, think before you post.
Love a good beaver story
Go beavs, go!
Brovo good job
People working together great ,
Fabulous ☮️🇺🇸
Update on the beavers?
can we please have update looks fantastic
Pretty sure the beavers watched you building the BDA's from their cages and thought: "What are these amateurs doing?!? Just release already and we'll show you how it is done." I am also not sure if it is smart to have so many people around the cages when releasing them and disturbing the area. Doesn't that mean the will move away from that spot in the beginning to avoid the crowd?
Yup. You definitely know more than the people actually doing it.
Just stumbled on this video. Is there an update?
So did they survive? Follow up??
I would like to see an update to this video if at all possible.
Hello, the clip with the Boreal Toad release call has no sound
Hello! Thank you for the heads up - so sorry about that! You can find the original video with sound here: ruclips.net/video/5VjCFSrh6Cs/видео.html
Private property help themselves no body else
Wonderfull team-work by caring people will win the day! All the best from the UK where beavers are being carefully reintroduced after being wiped out in 16th century. [Although it does appear several have been 'sneakily' introduced by radical conservationists by-passing the Ministry of Agriculture!]
Any updates?
One year ago...so? What's the results?
Please do a short RUclips update after all th rain this year 2023
At 2:23, how well did those logs work as beaver dam analogues? They seem to be installed a bit lower than the surrounding ground, so were they able to re-establish a floodplain around the stream?
can we have update please
ruclips.net/video/CSfJw1XYox4/видео.html this is a Australian method of river/ fish restoration
OMG - this is so great. Can't wait to help out again!!!
