Hi, I'm Michael Tweed-Kent. Welcome to my Feldenkrais channel for musicians!
I've spent the past 8 years teaching the Feldenkrais Method to over a thousand musicians of all instruments at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. And now I'm excited to share with all of you what I've discovered about feeling and sounding better.
If you are an ambitious performer, dedicated teacher, passionate amateur or recovering from pain or injury, I'll be posting everything from tutorial videos to vlogs to live masterclasses. So subscribe below to catch all the tips about improving your relationship with your self, body and instrument.
And if you'd like to study with me directly in online individual lessons or group workshops, check out the entire Feel Good Sound Good Program at: feelgoodsoundgood.com

Rounding to be heavy. Arching to be light. (Oistrakh, Shostakovich)
Notice how Oistrakh changes his posture according to the weight in his sound: rounding to play heavier, arching to play lighter. He does this with his entire self, but it's most visible in his head moving up and down.
