Is this for the 5g 2022 stylus version? And do I have to have the frame or can I take the back off disconnect the ribbon and then take the front screen off that way and use my original frame ?

Other than replace the screen what did you do to remedy the water damage? Doesn’t look like you cleaned up the board or anything.

I dropped my phone in water. Everything works but the screen is gray with these colorful lines......help

A professional install no doubt, but a few tips and mistakes... - Go slow with the heat-gun/hairdryer to soften the glue surrounding the entire perimeter of the phone. Use even force around the backing edges and it will not crack, so it can be reused. - Carefully use a heat-gun/hairdryer and tweezers to remove the two black FPC ribbon cables and the adhesive tape will come off with them and be reusable, this will mean additional adhesive (3M) tape shown won't be required. - Old (grey) thermal pads should be removed and replaced with new thermal paste, this was not done in the video and could lead to overheating issues. - My revision B board was missing the copper heat-spreader on the rear of the LCD screen. Can be seen @13:16 covered in thermal paste. I instead filled the skewed rectangular gap with thermal paste. - This is not shown but the black plastic pin for SIM ejection also needs to be pushed out and transferred to the new frame. - When reassembling the copper heat pad which sits on the battery (comes down from the top) should touch the battery then the wireless charging circuit (comes up from the bottom) sits on top. In the video they were incorrectly placed the opposite way around when reassembling. The incorrect way could result in reduced battery lifespan.

I've been told by several reputable distributors that there simply is no replacement screen for this device--not just OER, but there's no suitable aftermarket that matches the dimensions/specs Idk what screen you frankensteined onto there, but I'd love to find out! I have a XT2043-4 that the screen cracked down the middle a week into owning it, have avidly been looking to repair for the past ~12 mo but it's not possible. ???

My A32 fell in water , same as the one you just fixed on the video the screen doesn't turn on but it vibrates and makes sounds. also before the screen turned off I saw my camera wasn't working.

I need your help. My a32 is fell in the water but it survived. Thr only thing that is not working is thr keyboard, some keys are not working. I even tried updating the system software. Still it isn't working. The camera is working, everything is working. It is working slowly and hangs alot.
