You are totally right! As impressive as the Vision Pro is, it has some flows, especially battery life and price being the biggest. i believe the reason why it is so expensive is because of the displays. Although for a first generation device i have to say it is pretty good. Can’t wait to see what the 5th generation will be like. If the can narrow it to a thinner version with at least 6 hours of battery life costing under $2000 then Apple will be up to something.

@@TechInCheck I know the era has well and truly passed, but there is no way Steve Jobs would have allowed, nor endorsed the release of this product. It's just polished and Appleised enough. Oh well, let's see what the next 10 years of this product brings.

@@TechInCheck Jobs would have demanded a more polished and 'question-free' product. No external battery pack required, lighter design, more richer and deeper features to elevate this product into the stratosphere, light years ahead of the competition, and, more importantly, absolutely spine tingling, hair raising features that would absolutely make you line up for days, just to sense and be overwhelmed by that  magic of the era. Whilst this product is a step in the right direction, it is still worlds behind what their past expectations and goals have ultimately been. Yes, 4k screens, spatial audio, OLED 'goggles' and the  ecosystem are all good, no one can deny that, but the  universe of elevating perfection to surreal expectations missed the mark. They have simply released a product, whilst slightly innovative, has matched the price with current technological pricing. Vision Pro, is just not revolutionary. I'll wait for the holographic, head free version of this. Then, I'll gasp, instead of yawn.

@@TechInCheck No. The horse race here is between the Apple headset and the Meta Quest 3. I am sure Apple has better hardware but... it is simply not 7 times better. If Apple priced this closer to, say $800 then there'd be a real race. But as is... I know what I use VR for : Exercise and Watching movies. Both of which are worth $500 to me - and paying 7 times that for perhaps 2 times more resolution is not worth it.

I get your point! $3500 is pretty absurd given that there are headsets like the Quest 3 that can pretty do similar things, but i think we need to try it to see if it really worth that much. But i know that Apple’s goal is to create a more affordable version in the future, perhaps like an SE version and that’s where the real money will be

I have been using Apple products before, in, and after school, so it's a no-brainer to have the Apple Vision Pro for the ecosystem. Clearly, Apple is positioning this headset for the first adopters and developers at its marketing price. The original iPhone was limited and didn't even allow developers' support with the most expensive price tag. Then the price drop with better iteration, and I am sure the Vision Pro will be the same.
