Thanks for posting this
Who else’s coach sent this to them
R-2 blows quick double whistle, for subs, tells scorer: (subs' #s) (8) subs (3), & becons subs in, then repeats @ other bench's subs, lastly motions all's ready to R-1..🤗
Who else still doesn’t know how to do this bs? I wish they would just hire somebody else to do this, it’s not like we don’t already have enough to worry about being in a tournament.
Do you know how I can print out these sheets or like a link to the sheets?
You can try usa volleyball usavolleyball.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/2019-2021-USAV-Officiating-Scoring_online.pdf
what is this one used for ?
This is normally use for the third set which will decide who wins the match. Best way to explain it is that each game is best to wins out of three. If one team wins the first set and the second team wins the second set they have to play a third set to get the two wins to decide the match. Hopefully this will help.
Thank you for making this video! It helped soooooo much!
No problem, This was something the USA volleyball made but they made it difficult to find so I put the video on my page for my player to watch. Glad it helped.
This is so complex I have to watch this over and over to understand 😂
I get easier when it is played out in front of you with real players. If you are having trouble let the up ref know and they usually will be able to help you a little😁👍
How do I determine if it is a substitution or a replacement?
I’m not exactly sure what part of the video you are talking about but usually most switches will be substitutions for a libero
@@clubvipvbc So for the replacement part you said it was a replacement so we don't cross out the number. If it were a substitution instead of a replacement, we would cross out the number. How am I supposed to know if it is a replacement or a substitution.
@@julia-wo2sz A replacement is a switch between the libero and whatever player she is replacing. Legal replacements are unlimited. A substitution is a switch between two players, neither of which are the libero, and are counted towards the max number of substitutions. To put it another way, substitutions have to be signaled by the ref, do not involve the libero, and are counted; replacements involve the libero, happen on the fly, and are tracked but not counted.
Thank you! This was so helpful! How can I access this presentation online cause when I go to the USA volleyball website it isn’t there.
The Dog You have to click on ref and score keeper clinics (on the left bar) and pay $10 to get the certification
Sorry for the late reply I have tried to go back to USA Volleyball and try to find the downloadable version but have had no luck. They may have pulled it from the website. If I hear anything more I will definitely post it here
Ted B ok thanks
thank you so so much for all these videos! so helpful!!
Your welcome
Ted B uuuuuh.... *you’re
How do you determine on the sheet which team gets the right and left and which team only gets the middle?
It usually it is determined by what side they end up on with the coin flip. Generally you have to copy the information on the left side to the right side. And the team in the middle will say where they are. But each Reff may have a different way of doing it so I was double check at the table with the up ref .
Big help thanks
I’m glad it was helpful, if you have any questions let me know
USA volleyball made this video but they don’t really make it easy to find. I don’t know why?
Volleyball is very frustrating:(
Yes, and every year they add or modify the rules.
is your name really ted b
Yes, it’s Ted, and the b is my last name initial
This helped a lot! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful, good luck with your season.
Sorry for the late response, glad it was helpful
Very helpful!
girl power glad it helped
Haha good job Ted!!
I Totally forgot it was on the channel, LOL
This video was a big help, thanks.
Glad it helped.
when do u circle numbers when scoring?
you circle the number after the last point of the server, after the server stops serving, then you circle that last score.
