The thing with haechan is, he always takes the initiative. He makes sure they’re in order, he makes sure they’re complete, and he never fails to gather the members tightly. He is the glue of nct dream, and they always follow what his instructions are.

mark: dream captain (we all know he’s the cap) jeno: dream vice captain (i dunno i felt he unofficially took mark’s role when mark graduated) haechan: dream guardian (i mean hyuckie gives that vibe to me when he’s with the dreamies..he may tease them forever but he’s so attentive and observant especially towards his members well-being)

I feel like in Mark's absence the 00s bounced around different responsibilities of the leader and now that Mark is back of course he's the leader but in general the 00 line naturally manages and directs the group based on their own strengths. Haechan has very good variety sense so when it comes to hosting he's the ace. Jeno is very practical and has a strong energy, he's the type someone can rely on and gather around. Renjun is straightforward and also speaks well and also keeps the members focused and well guided. Jaemin supports members from behind and takes care of all of them. The hyung line is really good at balancing roles and taking care of the maknaes too.

Mark is their official captain/leader with little to no authority on screen (he mostly lead the team during recording etc) Jeno is the interim leader, very neutral and has charisma of his own. Worry free since Mark's back now that he don't have to handle 5 ruthless children called Dreamies. Haechan is the unofficial leader, who directs the team on screen, has plenty of authority and Dreamies listens to him alot, because he made alot of sense and a quick thinker, anything on screen just follow Haechan. Even jisung, the main dancer said "just dance, just follow Haechan hyung" for weekly idol random play dance. Dreamies may tease him, but actually listens to whatever Haechan said and follow him. Their frienship were priceless and 7dream deserves all the love in the world.

Haechan is wonderful & such an integral member of DREAM & 127.

Haechan is dream's leader on cam because he's decisive on anything he does. Variety is all about wittiness and quickness so no wonder he takes the role on cam. I have always been interested in how Haechan can lead regardless of the team. He's just a natural leader. Haechan is a person with plenty of potentials, talent, skill, and a great personality.

i feel like all the leaders have a person beside to help along no matter what, to mark its haechan, to taeyong its doyoung, and to kun its ten.....they all have someone to help them through the hard times, all the leaders are the backbone of their grp but without the one person they feel empty. just like how taeyong said without doyoung he feels empty as if he isnt complete, and how mark said without haechan he couldnt come this far.....thanks to haechan, mark has someone to lean on and thanks to mark the dreamies have someone to lean on...when mark left jeno became the leader guiding them along and mark must be soo thankful for him to taking his place taking care of them, if haechan wasnt in 127, then i think he would have been with jeno leading with him, but from the start haechan was always a "boss" to the dreamies cuz he was quick thinker and on screen he was fast to guide them along......markhuck is honestly amazing, its very clear that without each others support they wouldnt have made it this far.......

Why is this video saying that Dream doesn’t have official leader? Even when it was not the fixed unit, Mark was always the Leader. Since he had graduated, his leadership responsibilities were taken by 00 line mostly Jeno or Haechan

of course its obvious in the show that Haechan is constantly leading their content but even if you go back all the way to their debut to now Haechan has always taken charge. Mark was the leader behind the scenes while on camera it was obvious they would take Haechan more seriously. I feel like every dreamie has their own times where they take lead. Haechan more than anyone has alot of leadership qualities but he really does not want all the responsibility that goes with it so I think Mark is the perfect leader for them. The dreamies obviously love and respect mark but he also has the ability to take in all the responsibility. haechan did say that no one worries about dream more than mark. to lead the group properly markhyuck together is vital. plus i love how jeno also really stepped up to the plate as well
