Sound is most likely scattering all around the muffler much more, dampening the sound/db.

@@mikee1216 That makes sense I guess. I have the Akrapovic full system and now I'm thinking I should drill holes in the insert. I dont like super loud pipes but I do enjoy the massive performance gain.

@@chickentuber my full titanium exhaust only yields about 1-3 hp, not worth a ticket in SoCal. That is why I did the db test. I only wanted it for more smiles per miles cause the stock sounded too much like a seeing machine. I ride around the city and to work.

@@mikee1216 I have the one for the zx25r but it deletes the cat for better flow. I had the bike reflashed and I'm getting 72.9 hp at 14k

It's Euro 3 and can be upgraded to Euro 5.

Not everyone wants the fastest engine you can buy. Small engines are fun too. I've sunk a lot of money into my 125cc grom because it's more fun to race around town than my zx6

@@tonnitropartas Plus beginners arent apt to go get a 1000cc and kill themselves on it not knowing the full potential. At least the 400 gives you a little leeway. You learn then move up.

My ECU has been flashed, but 2wdw only had the Graves low mount and Akra High, not the Yoshi. Vcyclenut has this exhaust. Waiting for his vid to show dyno runs.

Actually, this is why I went with this exhaust. It is jmca certified. Means it passes Japan’s noise regulations. If you want quiet look for jmca certified.

I can on my 22 BMW M1000RR with full titanium Akrapovic Evolution! First gear and zero throttle I can putt putt on in the driveway without disturbing anyone. The only thing I've had a problem with is cold starts being a little gnarly and pulling inside the garage while running or starting my bike in the garage makes loud obnoxious drones. I've got one buddy that carries a baffle that he slips in before getting to his neighborhood and it stays put unless you rev it pass 8krpm then it'll rattle before it blows out!

@@NudaMan This has nothing to do with their work, but the North American ZX4-RR has a shit tune. The rest of the world are looking at 70hp which is what 2WDW got stock with ECU flash.

Pretty close but no it does not. I've ridden over 2 hours straight and aluminum fairing had no extra heat from headers.

Bike only had 6 miles at the time gasket showed no compression

@mikee1216 I was just wondering thanks for the polite reply I'm no mechanic I was just under the impression all the newer gaskets are made of copper and are kind of designed like crush washers and are only one time use

@@russellcheng8992 Over some time I believe, but the torque specs do not crush these copper gaskets much. I don't remember the new gasket uncompressed mm spec but when I checked during the install, it was basically new spec. Crush washers are crushed after first torque, they are just flat. These are copper gaskets that are kind of spongy, anyways I had no exhaust leak. For my grom I am able to reuse the gaskets even after 3k miles.

You do not. Both turn signals are 12v and LED.

Tie them in the OEM front turn signals. I did not use the 3rd wire (DRL) since my new turn signal DRL were white and the R6 mirrors are amber.
