This week we took a trip to wv to see the abandoned mansion of a former governor of West Virginia. This place is so large we got turned around more than once . Thanks to the AmericanXplorers for the inspiration and need to visit this place!

Prunty trade school in McDowell county Wv opened in 1950 as a African American trade school and was last used as a vocational school for middle school students. Before closing in the 1990’s for good and left to the elements since.

We took a ride through the mountains and found a gem. Jewell valley is close to where we both grew up and always heard the stories. We finally made our way out and found it!
